It's not about how many fans you have worldwide, it's about how many you have in the stadium.

Besides, if you want a shiny new stadium, why not ground share with West Ham at the White Elephant? Neither of you can sell your current stadiums out, so spreading the risk would work out alright.

I know the Champions and US Open cup they are contractually obligated to only sell 15,000 tickets or something due to the Stadium being on a college campus, but as the preseason games are meant to generate money for the MLS team I'm not sure if they worked around it. There's also 2 sections in the stadium that are owned by companies but they're season tickets to the home depot center, not the Galaxy so they sadly remain empty unless it's a big game. It's also possible no wanted wanted to see some club called Tottenham play :grin:

The last English team to get out played by the Galaxy's reserves won the league the next year. It could be a sign!

I called the Home Depot Center (310.630.2260) and there was no cap for the game so I guess we have to assume you were right that no one wanted to see Spuds.

Leaving aside the fact that you claim to be sad enough to have actually phoned the stadium in order to post that load of ****e, the attendance was 25,676 and the capacity's 27,000.

Anyway, just wanted to know a brief of how your pre-season has been?
Hope tonights game is good and importantly no injuries! England players back for us now, so I would imagine they feature a little, as well as a complete team change at half time. We have Europa league on our mind, when do you begin?
 
Hi jaffakop. Our pre season has gone ok. The main problem we have,and I am sounding like a broken record on this, is we are very lightweight up front. Defoe is our only proven out and out striker and he has been sent home for family reasons. The Adebayor saga carries on and there is no news of any other bids. If we don't bring anyone else in before the season starts I can't see us getting back in the top 4 again. Unless Harry Kane improves beyond all recognition!! Not sure when our first Europa league match is I'm not sure if they have been announced yet but I may be wrong.

Adebayor has huge wage demands I would presume. Borini should hopefully play some part for us up front, Suarez is at the Olympics and English players won't be very fit, otherwise you will mainly be playing against youth team players. We have Europa league this week coming sadly.

Can you show me the rule that everyone must sit in their seat at a friendly for the full 90 mins?, more seats were visible either side of HT...well spotted with your own eyes!...how odd that is at a football match! <doh>
