Came over a few weeks ago and couldn't get a meal in the fat buddha booked solid went for meal in the Promenade it was absolute s hite one of the worst meals I have had in years.:emoticon-0119-puke:

Aye it's popular mate, should have went to the one in Durham, same food different view.

It's peak holiday season mate no matter who you are them BA hoppers to Heathrow are packed this time of year.

He'd have to wait like anyone else, unlikely he's a gold card holder having not been uk based.
Surely the airlines have got their priorities wrong allowing holiday makers ahead of football signings. Matter of life and death
Medicals running late mate. There`s a queue.

.
Doctors will be earning enough in two days to keep them in beer for a year.

They wanted 7m for 4 months of contract. Meaning a value of 84 million over 4 years. Nah mate, We've done right, they're taking the piss so we've done what we had to do. We've signed a precontract with him now meaning he can't go anywhere else. Even if we wait til Jan we've done right imo.

Think it depends on how long it takes him to get back into the team fully match fit. If he slips straight in - and he hopefully will - then I can accept it was a business decision. If he's not in for a few games or has to only be a sub due to getting up to match fitness then it's a bit iffy in my eyes. A saving of what is fairly small change in modern football (interesting to see how much that saving is) at what cost. I look at the Boro home game and without Catts or Kirschoff you needed someone like Yann.

Ah well, there's always many complications and wheels within wheels. Overall, got to be chuffed when he comes in he's a perfect fit for you - honestly think you'l be fine this season, just not by much again!

My understanding is that te doesn't have a work permit for Russia at the minute so nothing stopping him training with us for the next few months until his contract runs out, then stepping straight into the team in Jan. He is French, so thanks to the wonders of EU laws, he can come and live in the UK whenever he likes.

Edit:

Just a thought, if his current club cancels his contract next week (breach of contract as he hasnt turned up for training, no need to pay his wages), once they figure out they are paying him for no reason and he becomes a free agent, cant we sign him at any time ?

I assume if he's in England to sign for us then we wouldn't blank him and would have been in touch with him several hours ago.
