Whats in the scope? ... we can discuss all we want, but ....
... in the end its all futile until we see the reaction from the available players in the next few games.
As a dane I stand sad to see Laudrup go, but unlike many others I do understand the decision by the board. Things have not looked well in plenty of games and some players seem demotivated, or is the balance on the team just bad? Did Laudrup fail to raise his voice and concern in order to create the necessary motivation, or was he undermined by some of the players as well? Maybe its a combination of everything and this raises a lot of questions.
How will the spanish armada react to the sackin? here I am thinking especially about Michu.
Will Monk be able to raise the spirit in the team, making them understand that its not Laudrup who matters now ... only the team matters, the players should forget about everything else and focus.
Are the players as good as some think they are? There are quiet a few players who seem to be randomly present at the pitch while having awfull days at times, just to name Pozuelo, De Guzman and Hernandez as a few. Even Bony looks sometimes as if he couldnt bother, the ball has to find him in the box ... he rarely makes to explosive run to meet the ball in the air, but he does have a good scoring rate. Thats why I miss Michu, he is so good at making those runs to meet the ball.
Is it Laudrups fault that we have been collapsing? the teams? individual players? the physical coach? (dont actually even know if Swansea has one)
I cant answer any of the above, how would we have been without Michus injury? .... I dont have a clue. So I wont have a go at Laudrup or the board, since I am pretty much clueless myself, just hoping for better times ahead and getting used to Swansea not being shown on danish tv, thank god for live streams.
