Agbonlahore couldn't finish his dinner, Carlton Cole is about as clinical up front as Fat Ashley himself would be. I'm thinking Gervinho.
 
Good call with Toivonen, god help us if C. Cole is a target. It is quite exciting to imagine us having 35 mil to spend in summer (even if I am setting myself up for heartbreak from Ashley again).

Think your thinking of Amir Zaki, had a class first half of a season but went off the boil and had loads of issues with not coming bak from international leave and the like!! think he signed for hull or someone after that and was sh**e, u guys can get better than him.

Although 90% of the names suggested on here are unrealistic in my opinion!
 
The one positive is that the other "big clubs" are all fully stocked in the striker department, so if anyone wants a starting spot playing in England, they should definitely see us as an attractive destination (they should anyways, but you know what I mean)

I'd also like Gradel, would be available cheap, the same goes for Becchio.
Also a big fan of of Sturridge, disappointed we didn't try get him in on loan!
 
Klose anyone? There's a number of youngster's coming through the german ranks we could keep an eye on. And free listed players?
 
I know it was against a hilarious back-line, but doesn't anyone remember how great Lovenkrands and Besty were together?

For once we had a playmaker in Barton who could make use of Lovenkrands pace/intelligent running, and Best's hold-up play is surprisingly decent

I tweeted this before... played once together and produced 5 goals. I'd love to see it tomorrow night, it's little and large.

Agree with Toivonen, and Balázs Dzsudzsák from PSV as well would be great (although he's a winger).
