Halloween (obviously also Valentines Day but I think lots of people hate that anyway).

Don't mind some of the old traditions with day of the dead (especially how some of the south Americans do it) but in the last few decades its become a ****ty christmas-lite. I blame america entirely to be honest. I'm biased as it's actually my birthday on 31st so I get a bit miffed at my kids wanting me to take them tricky or treating for "my birthday" when I struggle to think of anything I'd like to do less.

All I saw last weekend was pics of grown up adult people dressed up for Halloween posted over various social media.

I thought Halloween was this Thursday? Since when did it last a ****ing month? And since when was it for adults ffs, it's for kids, young ones at that.

*I did see lots of other stuff too, just emphasising the point.

Cheap sausages. Loads of people seem to like these Richmond's sausages and similar ones that have mostly cereal in them other than meat.
Only absolute estate scum think Richmond's are good sausages.

Electric cars. Massive white elephant bag of bollocks

If you want net zero, improve public services and infrastructure.

Don't try to suggest we all go battery powered and then make the rest up as you go along.

The other stuff comes first.

Flavoured beers. Just **** off with your citrus and berry nonsense

Insurance. Generally just a criminal syndicate to fleece you. Ooh have you insured your carpet in case the dog throws up on it ? Well we won't pay out anyway haha

Funerals. Why ? If you're not upset and full of dread about your own mortality by the time it starts, they will make sure you are by the end of it. Also we'll charge you £8000 for the pleasure of making a sad time in your life even more morose. When I go, I'd like people to celebrate my life, rather than mourn my death. And just ****ing stick me in a carboard coffin and lob it on the fire.

Subscriptions. Another scam to fleece you. I've just managed to extricate myself from a ****ing Halford motoring club subscription which they told me in store would save me £26 on buying a battery for my van if I paid £4.99 to sign up. What they didn't tell me that it was a recurring payment every month for a year, and you couldn't get out of it if you'd used the membership (which is why they ****ing signed me up in the first place) and if you want to cancel, you have to pay the whole year remainder. Thieving ****s. This ****e is repeated across the industry.

Anyway, that's just for starters lol
