I think a win against Burnley is essential for JFH. The fans need to show they are fully behind him next week and the players need to see that too.
absolutely ridiculous poll warnock would have guaranteed promotion over two seasons probabley getting us up this saeason via the play offs ferdinand in only interested in his own interests,he cant insrtall a manager like warnock or alladyce because they are ten divisions above him im afraid we stay in this division untill we get rid of ferdinand and all his puppets ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE THAT THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE ALLOW DIRECTORS OF FOOTBALL WE ARE GOING TO START LOSING GAMES OH SURE WE WILL WIN SOME BUT THIS SEASON WE NOW FINISH TENTH UNDER WARNOCK WE WERE GOING TO WEMBLEY AGAIN TO MURDER SOME POOR FOOTBALL TEAM WHO HAD A PUPPET MANAGING THEM but like the rest of you i have accept the situation and wish jimmy floyde luck because untill hes lost about ten games we can say its not jimmies fault hes never managed at this level before, but dont worry ferdinand will have another puppet to install but one day in ten seasons time you guys are going to say enough is enough lets get rid of ferdinand
Do we know whether NW actually applied for the job ? From Clive's Reading report it appeared during the application process, NW was undecided. Obviously being the incumbent Interim Manager, NW would be allowed a little leeway, but perhaps we will never know whether NW officially applied for the job. So any conjecture of ulterior motives from SLF, cannot be justified. Dont know why some here think a young hungry up-and-coming Manager, with a very good record behind him, that has played at the highest level, is not an exciting prospect. Most posters here were excited about most of our Summer signings Cheri and Luongo, in particular, hungry up-and-coming players, never having played in the Championship. So why shouldn't the same logic be applied to Managers ? Or why a manager that has never managed in the current league, is a huge risk. The list of Managers that have already managed in their current league, or even the one above and performed poorly is never-ending.
er bobby charlton bobby mooore ray wilkins all absolute crap managers why oh why do people assume if someone was a great player he may be a good manager we only have 10 good managers in this country so thats one in 6 million what makes you think haselbank is that one lets be honest soon another club will realise that warnock is quite brilliant and we wont have an option on bringing him into our club imagine if he saved newcastle do you think the geordies would dump him out of there club they after all made the same mistake when they replaced bobby robson with graham sourness
I give up, whats the point in giving him a chance, maybe he might do ok. You seem to have a crystal ball indicating he will be completely hopeless - maybe you could tell me tonights Lottery numbers ?? Ted, you assume NW applied for the Manager's job and was turned down ? Do you have proof ?
I didnt say playing at the highest level, guaranteed anything, I was saying I am excited about the prospect and want him to do well for us, no point looking back on what NW may have achieved, the reality is our Manager is JFH.
It took me a while before I decided to post on this thread. I like Warnock and of JFH I was uncertain. But after weighing everything up and watching all of the interviews etc, JFH has that single mindedness of a winner. It's ever so sleight but it's something Ramsey lacked. My only reservation is whether he can transfer his managerial skills to a group that believe they are better than the Championship. I hope so. Warnock managed to do it. Every single player gave him a hug following the Reading game and thanked him. That's no mean feat in today's game. To get everyone together so quickly and giving their all for our club is bordering on the genius. Well done Neil and thank you. He is not the future though. JFH is. Will it work? Who knows, but best we get started asap. The easy option for him was to stay at Burton. He must see something in us that has made him think it's worth upping sticks and giving it a go. It can't just be about London and the money. I'm quite sure that Fulham and Brentford would've been touting for him as would many other clubs. He chose us though, there must be a good reason for this. Good luck Jimmy!
I haven't bothered to read through this thread to be honest as it's null and void, jimmy's the manager now , get behind him and stop looking at the past.
Well said Jarlin..... Like him or loathe him...he is our manager.and for the record after reading the interviews I like him... It also appears he is our manager not head coach.... Come on u Rrrrrs..Come on Jimmy Fs blue and white army
well theres not much i can do but if this jimmy boy screws our team it is my right as a human being to go on the war path, one of the greatest days of my life was to lead the qpr march to wembley on the 24th of may i had led the oxford march as well in 1985 but what a differant march it was in 1985 the people on the march were like millwall football club the singing was deafening i was so much pride it was full of hope but i noticed on the last march to wembley gone is the solidarity of our movement gone is the unity,we as suppoprters are a beaten race,we accept this man ferdinand who cannot appoint a proper manager because unlike any other director of football in the world hes won less than cris ramsey SO HE IS IN FACT COMPLETELY USELESS,AND THAT MEANS WE NEED A LOT OF LUCK TO EVER GO OUT OF THIS DIVISION THE ONLY WAY THAT HASLEBANK CAN GO UP IS TO THE SAME TEAM BECAUSE IN FOOTBALL YOU SHOULD NEVER CHANGE A WINNING TEAM IF HE DID THAT,BUT CHANGE THE ONE WARNOCK MISTAKE WHICH WAS NEIL SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT ON JET WITH HIM PLAYING WITH CHARLIE UP FRONT THAT TEAM WOULD SMASH ALL THAT GOES IN FRONT OF IT THATS ABOUT IT THIS IS OF COURSE ONLY AN OPINION IF JIMMY HASLEBANK COMES ON BOARD PLAYS A COMPLETELY DIFFERANT TEAM AND WINS TEN GAMES ON THE BOUNCE I SHALL CALL JIMMY FLOYDE MY BABY AND BACK HIM TO THE HILT AND AT THE SAME TIME CALL FOR LES FERDINAND TO BE KNIGHTED HYPOCROSY IS A BIG PART OF WATCHING QPR the bottom line is I am so old my days are numberd i am waiting for eye lazer treament if it fails then i go blind so i want to see qpr in the prem as quick as possible
Not having been one to embrace the last manager, I do wonder what this thread hopes to achieve and also why is it a sticky? How many of you told me be to back Ramsey? And we do this a real prospect. Neil is gone, grow a pair and look to the future. We'll always have Reading. 1 Question for you Grifter, have you photoshopped Jimmy's head onto the body of Moses yet? or did you just have a 'thing' for Rambo?
I don't think anyone really aims to achieve much by posting on a football forum, i just thought it was an interesting question. That picture wasn't my work Bush Rhino, i came across it on Twitter!
It was a funny mock up to be fair. Given the flack I got for not supporting Rambo, my thinking was the board would get behind the new man, the result of the poll isn't going to convince anyone we anything other than totally split as a fan base. I did think it was strange to sticky it after the new man was already in place though. Looks like we are sending some sort of message...like we not happy or something along those lines. Nothing against the question in itself.
Fair play mate, i see where you're coming from! I was expecting more of a 65/35 split in favour of Warnock, so it's nice to see that so many people are positive about the new guy. Having just watched Les Ferdinand's interview on QPRPlayer, and finished the Loftforwords article, i do feel excited about Hasselbaink's arrival (even if i'd still prefer Warnock). Interesting few months ahead!
I think Warnock earned another chance, but we don't know the full story on what happened. JFH is here now so I think we need to back him like it or not. Play offs have to be the target. Onwards & Upwards.
I voted for Warnock but since then I've changed my mind, despite the snatch and grab at the false hoops. JFH is the future and what many have been crying out for - a young and hungry manager with a proven track record albeit at lower levels so far. He would have had my 110% support anyway but now it's from the heart too. "Jimmy Floyd's blue n white army"!!
As it's been said we all have a large soft spot for Colin and he has done wonders for the club but he has more important issues to deal with and is no spring chicken himself, Jimmy is a young manager with an excellent record at lower levels (in a short time I grant you) with a point to prove and a desire to succeed, surely this is what fans want? Picking up talent for little outlay and taking them to the top or selling them on for big profits (well compo for a manager, but same difference really). Fully behind Jimmy and excited about the appointment
