(I understand some may want neither as manager- but for the sake of the poll, please pick who you'd prefer assuming these are our only two options)

It's a bit late now. If the support everywhere votes Colin that won't help Jimmy too much. He's the Manager now and needs our support.

He seems a nice guy from his QPR Player interview, but i can't imagine him matching Warnock's man-motivational skills. Nor does he have the championship experience, or passion/affiliation with the club Warnock does. Fair play to him for accepting a 1 year rolling contract though- and i wish him all the best.

An unfair question - lets see how JFH gets on in his first month (with some difficult games coming up) and then start making comparisons - he'll get my full support for now

I despair at this.....FFS give the guy a chance......

He comes across as a thoughtful, intelligent (speaks 4 languages), articulate person, wants his teams to play good football, plus he's ambitious, wants to manage in the Premier League one day, well why not do it with us?

Thanks for everything Neil, take good care of your wife.......

I'm definitely giving the guy a chance, and am excited to see what this injection of new blood will achieve. But it's certainly a legitimate question to ask- Warnock himself was surprised that Reading was his last game.

As far as i can tell, the claims about him leaving the game because of his wife are unsubstantiated. She was unwell during the Borough' game, but he's been in the dugout since then. I get the impression Les pulled the trigger early, because a couple more wins for Warnock would've made him very hard to replace with Les's preference.

I voted for Warnock on the basis that he is much more experienced and has always done a good job with us. I am prepared to give the new man a chance and hope he succeeds.

I get your point Grifter but only a few weeks ago Warnock ruled himself out saying that he was looking for a role between Chairman and Manager/Coach, he was only taking the interim job until the end of November, he didn't to be a full time manager again.........I don't know where you have been but it's been reported fairly widely that his wife has cancer, he even referred to it last night.......We don't know what has gone on behind the scenes with Ferdinand and there is no evidence that he "pulled the trigger" as you put it, that is just pure conjecture on your part......

In a way what Warnock said about his last game is in many ways typical flip flopping.......I have a lot of time for Warnock but now is the time for him to concentrate on the more important things in life and in time if TF has any sense (debatable) he'll bring him in as a club ambassador, something that his personality is ideally suited.......

Our last 'ambitious' manager left a mess behind him.
