Firstly... seriously epic fail there from KIO! Ruud Gullit and Paul Gascoigne both had trials under Sir Bobby but he opted not to sign them. Second, Thijssen was talking about the Ipswich job a year or so ago with Patrick Kluivert... could do a lot worse!
From what I remember Jewell pretty much came out of the blue last time. The bookies weren't really fancying him!!
