I am really shocked that these kinds of videos exist and that they then get uploaded online. I believe the BBC posted this incident too.
I have to say that I find this kind of stuff disgusting. It is wrong that people film this stuff let alone publishing it. My wife had loads of clips of the earthquake in the Philippines an the same issue applies there. I think the press has a duty to report news yet I think there should be censorship on what is published. There were clips that my wife was unacceptable including kids being traumatised. I refuse to watch it these clips but watching an attempted murder is beyond the pall.
I am generally sympathic with the fate of refugees but I do wonder who is checking stuff like mental health.
"Connor Bishop, 24, was sentenced to two years and eight months and Leon O'Leary, 41, was jailed for three years and one month. Both pleaded guilty to violent disorder at a previous hearing."People who use these terrible, terrible crimes as an excuse to go rioting are nothing more than garden variety ****bags.
Life sentences for people caught doing this. End of.Evicting people by way of burning their houses is properly ****ing grim
Feels like we're going to have another summer like 2024 but worse. Worryingly the weather is set to improve by the weekend.
Life sentences for people caught doing this. End of.
Not quite sure why Lexley-Lennon is still at large. I think free speech is important but what he is doing is transgressing this. I would be inclined to take him to court to pay for the damage caused by the rioters he inspired. It will be interesting to see how Farage reacts.
It's attempted murder at the least, and arguably terrorism.
So that'll be two tier politicing and two tier journalism well past understanding by the flag shagging knuckle draggers burning up the streets. There were no riots and incendiary and divisive rhetoric from politicians and certain parts of the media after this...

In fact it was barely reported, I certainly missed it.
All attacks of this nature are bad, it's how we react to it as a nation that matters, we should listen to the families of the victims that don't want their tragic loss to be a catalyst for hate and division.
