Just made the mistake of watching the video from Belfast. Awful :(

I am really shocked that these kinds of videos exist and that they then get uploaded online. I believe the BBC posted this incident too.

I have to say that I find this kind of stuff disgusting. It is wrong that people film this stuff let alone publishing it. My wife had loads of clips of the earthquake in the Philippines an the same issue applies there. I think the press has a duty to report news yet I think there should be censorship on what is published. There were clips that my wife was unacceptable including kids being traumatised. I refuse to watch it these clips but watching an attempted murder is beyond the pall.

I am generally sympathic with the fate of refugees but I do wonder who is checking stuff like mental health.

Quake in yer boots. Around 36,000 people arrived by small boats in the year ending 31 May 2026.
Approximately 38,000 people without the right to remain in the UK were recorded leaving, marking a 9% increase over the previous year.
Shame that Farage was not amongst those leaving.

BBC was where I saw it and was too surprised they showed it, even censored.

I saw the clip was on BBC but did not want to watch. I think this is a massive slip up in integrity let alone my misgivings about whoever felt it was ok to film and those who felt the misfortunes of the victim did not matter.

I find knife crime is alost being legitimised and am glad that the likes of Sit Idris Elba have gone a lot fo campaign against this. My wife mislaid the small kitchen knife last month and the grief buying a replacement was indicative that there are measures in place to restrict knife sales on Amazon.
