No doubt.

Hopefully if the Ayatollah's rule fails now then the American public might realise that regime change is possible through mass protest too...
shouldn't that be in blue? The US has the "regime" it voted for and they can vote for something else (and get it) next time round.

Hundreds of thousands of protesters all over the country. Dozens of arrests. Teargas used. People being shot dead

Meanwhile, there's some sh*t going on in Iran too.

I was interested to read about Musk's involvement and use of Starlink to ensure that the protester's having access to the internet in Iran. For once , i think Musk is doing good here. However, if it is this easy , why hasn't the same been tried with Russia ?

How do you know it hasn't? It was being used in Ukraine, maybe still is. Probably be used here as well if Starmer's lot try and ban X while ignoring ChatGPT and Gemini and all the others.

As far as I know, you can't digitally undress people on the latter two...which as you well know is the point.

Interesting the Trump administration and Kristi Noem used the slogan "One of ours, All of yours" on a podium yesterday. That slogan was last used by the Nazis, when an SS officer was killed, and the Nazis slaughtered every male resident of a village in response.

So at least we know where we stand.

They’re not even trying to hide what they are anymore

In fairness, I’ve been duped a bit here. That’s not actually a Nazi slogan - did some due diligence on it. They said “100 for 1” in Yugoslavia, but “one of ours, all of yours” was never used.

Though it’s still not exactly a great message…

Chilling how history repeats itself.

The contempt Trump and his acolytes have for the rule of law is the issue. Slogans and salutes are giveaways, but it’s actions that really count.

What can you say about an administration which weaponises the justice system to punish anyone it perceives as a political opponent?

I have no sympathy. It is incredible that he akready was sacked twice by Blair yet still brought back by Starmer. This was a massive error of judgement.

I do feel Mandelson was a prime reason why people in uk are cynical about politics. He should have been kicked out of Labour years ago.

As predicted the compulsory digital id won't be happening.

Good news but how many u turns is that now from this government? Hard to know what they actually stand for.

So predictable. This government is so weak.

They've done more good in two years than the last lot of idiots did in 14. Look at the improvements in the NHS, nationalisation of the railways, rescuing what's left of British Steel, Leaseholders and Renters rights, employees rights etc. None of this gets covered by our delightful media though.
