What ever if is - I think it implies homosexual here - it underlines the non-seriousness of the "****posting" style messages. Of course the "fascist" one will be taken completely seriously by many. Maybe reading the bullet's message has turned some investigators gay.

The family were gun nuts, if he had been radicalized anywhere else he wouldn't have had access to or the capability with weapons required to carry out this assassination.

The family have a decision to make, I suspect there will be pressure now to "evolve" the narrative, as they are so textbook gun lovin' hardcore right, that their son "was got at" while online by corrupting dark organized forces. Making him wholly a victim rather than an agent (that they would be if gay, black or trans). Externalizing the blame rather than examining internal contradictions within the MAGA movement, preserves the family's and broader community's ideological "coherence".

Social media at first was a good concept, but it’s been hijacked to make money - and to make money is to force feed people with anything they search for. Suddenly you get a few like minded people connected via these algorithms and more than that, it poisons the minds of the impressionable.
It is even worse than that. Social media actually promotes divisive content. Not because evil people set it up but simply because the algorithms are designed to farm engagement and people engage more with anger than they do with kindness.
I deleted it all a good number of years ago, because it wasn’t good for my state of mind. Sadly I find the media are becoming more like the social media algorithms. Click bait headlines and impartial reporting to get more engagement.
That is very wise. I had to delete X as it is a genuine sewer and was making me question humanity. Even Reddit is becoming a constant clash of political opinions.
I listened to Any Answers today and at first I was really enjoying the callers’ abilities to look at the middle ground. Some very sensible comments about Starmer for example, from Tory voters to boot! But then some guy who spends too long online started ranting about ‘Rachael from Accounts’ and had no interest in the actual topic. Which is what happens to the terminally online.
So my mother in law who is 76 was on the way to the Arsenal match, and unfortunately had to share a carriage with a lot of flag shaggers. At Kings Cross they were looking for fights. One lady pushed a black lady and said 'see what happens if you touch me'. She was surrounded by larger white males who looked like security guards. Nice. My mother in law was also called a liberal c**t as she sought solace with the 'opposition' as in not hate filled individuals.
