America under Trump is not an allie and he needs to get the message that cosying up to Putin is not an option.
I think that was done on purpose. Amazing after AP were banned.
You can never underestimate the idiocy of Trump.
If I was in the American media, I would want an explanation and would looking to discredit Trump because of this. There is already talk that Trump is now using unverified Right Wing media to get the kind of access AP enjoyed. This will play to the supporters mistrust of the mainstream media but I think it will backfire. I will be interested to see how the next environmental disaster will play out in America.

That was a coordinated choreographed attack by Trump and Vance. The asinine reporter rounding on Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit should have been ejected. No wonder the Russians were elated and a Tass journalist 'mistakenly' allowed in? It stinks of collusion. Boycott America.
Apologies to disappoint my fans but I was actually out and about. Just sat down and watched the whole thing.
It’s sad that zelensky forced this kind of conversation into the public domain, as it doesn’t help his cause. Everything Trump (and especially Vance) said was correct imo.
I noticed that most of the media were quick to cut the first sections of the conversation off.
I think ultimately zelensky comes out of this interaction worse as the American taxpayer will be even more baffled as to why they are funding this war.
People hate Trump but he’s the only honest and transparent one there

One of those times where you absolutely have to watch the full meeting and not just the highlights, otherwise you’ll be lost. Love him or hate him, Trump started the meeting by praising Ukraine. Before Zelensky turned to him, Vance started by saying Russia “destroyed” Ukraine. Zelensky decided to turn the meeting into a public spat. Maybe you think he was right to go on offense, but he was absolutely not ambushed.

To be honest Vance was trying to showboat and banging on about how they were doing more than the previous administration, Zelensky was trying to agree that the previous administration and EU weren't doing much but got his words mixed up and Vance lost it a bit, Zelensky reacted to that with possibly a little bit of misinterpretation and then old man Trump completely lost the plot too and left Zelensky looking like he had no idea what had happened. Complete mess really but thats the world we are now living in. Its either the technocrats that ignore you and steal your money or the Reality TV star that..........is probably gonna do the same.
I did, you’re totally, utterly, incontrovertibly wrong. Trump and Vance were like a couple of playground bullies.

Apparently the mics caught Zelinsky muttering "bitch" under his breath while Vance was motoring on. Good man.
