I didn't know you had me blocked so in my timeline your post "appeared" to be responding to mine

Apologies for that. i don't block anyone. As much as some posters make me want to explode it does me no favours not seeing what other people think or say.
I guess some may see my posts as cheerleading the right when I am just trying to see it from as neutral a position as possible (which of course is impossible for anyone as we all have our own bias) and am worried that continued ignorance of public's concerns / worries. Using a lot of people's less diplomatic words to insinuate they mean something else. Politicians continually telling the media "what the people think" when the public are watching and thinking "thats not what we think" all in order to continue to do what they want and not what the public actually voted for. This all worries me because like we can see. Snakeoil is rife and these are the conditions that snake oil becomes more and more attractive as time goes on.
You don't have to agree with Labour to vote for them if you think the Tories are doing bad. You don't have to agree with Tories if you think Labour are doing bad. However if both are within a smidgeon of each other, continuing the gravy train of syphoning away the public purse to their friends / contacts / pet projects .vested interests with different messaging and of course sometimes different targets for their open pilfering then voters will look elsewhere and similar to the Labour/Tory thing........you don;t have to agree with UKIP / Brexit Party / Reform to vote for them. Does not make you a raving loonie.
Its no good the Lib Dems or any other new party coming in and talking about change while their words mean more of the same, different message. The immigration is and always was since Blair all about their gravy train. We are now n a massive fix with no more money to sort things out, too many people for the infrastructure they all ignored. Even Blair's "investment" in schools and hospitals was a cash grab that resulted in new infrastructure but at a massive cost which then hindered the ability to do any more infrastructure for the length of those overpriced "investments."
And while Musk might not be the nicest chap and his way of doing things is Bizarre and poorly targetted.....the problem being addressed is correct. Across the Western World the public purse should be going to the frontline. borrowing directly to fund infrastructure, not paying 3x the money to your pals to build and maintain it. It should go to Nurses, policemen, teachers, not the huge layer of bureacratic positions invented to give a layer of "managerial" or other stuff for more of your pals. It is systemic across all mainstream parties across the Western World.
The utilisation of "education" to shift as many young people off the unemployment register has been a huge failure. It has ripped the heart out of trades and other "lower skilled" jobs to the point we have skills shortages in what used to be something that you could get a proper apprenticeship / advancement for life from.
The BS scam of student fees tied to that of which 85% will never be repaid but is guaranteed of course by government is another major problem which is still yet to hit fully until those 30 year loans start to end. This is gonna become a huge problem through the next decade onward because the goverment will be the ones paying this back and thats more money up the tree.
Every mainstream party talking about inequality in terms of money has been pushing policy that makes the rich richer and richer for years.
So like I said from 2014 (and before) If people seriously want to stop this slide towards the far right........there has to be an alternative. Someone that will stop this wholesale plunder of the the public purse or snake oil wins. Whether people talk about immigration or doctors or class sizes or crime. It all boils down to "the economy stupid" where people want the public purse to stop disappearing up the tree in open sight. This was the Brexit vote in a nutshell. Paying another body to decide to divert public funds when we had one already doing it here just doubled the whole problem up and as we can see across Europe all countries have this monetary problem.
I'm not a Trump fan, nor Musk nor Farage. I don't like the way they do things (or in Farage's case would like to do things as he is not in government) but that does not mean the problem they are addressing is wrong. "The State" across the Western World needs stripping back from top down. It should be a much higher percentage frontline staff and all the jobs for the boys need culling. The EU blob needs to disappear. The whole lawfare stuff needs to be peeled back.
And the blindness all our "leaders" and those that are in the public domain need to stop trying to "shame" people into voting for the status quo. It does not work. The "status quo" is the problem. These leaders say the status quo is the problem but then when in power do everything they can to maintain the status quo under the pretence of change.
