In fairness, I have no idea if he's doing a good job as the MP for Great Yarmouth (which is what his job is). He's certainly found a position to take which has majorly boosted his profile (thanks largely to Musk), so he'll be busy making the most of that. As you know, it's what politicians do.
 
4 years ago today, the President of the United States of America attempted an armed uprising against members of Congress verifying the election results.

The same man is about to be inaugurated as President again.

Think about how this could possibly have happened.

Anyone wanting to lick Musk's boots today?

Ditched Farage yesterday, threatening military action against the country to overthrow the democratically elected government of the UK today.

I would say i'm shocked but.....You just have to laugh I suppose.

Of course I am being daft because the best thing you can do with someone like Musk is ignore him, probably.

I'm not. I'm annoyed at Musk not doing anything other than shouting into the wind because he fancies doing so. He'll move onto the next thing once he's got bored of this particular power trip, because he's a child. He doesn't actually care about this stuff, he's just on an ego train.

Wasn’t directed at you, but in general I’ve seen a lot of people annoyed about it.

Their anger is misplaced.. it should be toward the council and gov employees who systematically covered it up for years.

I’m glad musk is shouting about it, because it’s a national disgrace.

He has also been shouting about Epstein client list etc. so this isn’t a flash in the pan as you say. This is him using his platform to fight genuine evil.

I think you're crediting him with too much there. He's like an ADHD kid. Happy to be wrong on that, but that's very much the way he comes across, and he can't be arsed to do any real research on what he's shouting about (see the position with Tommy Robinson for details).

Oh for sure, he’s definitely got some mental issues going on. But that doesn’t mean he’s wrong.

Tommy Robinson is a complicated one too tbh. He has shone a light on these grooming gangs and other similar events for a long time. (Before it was mainstream).

In many of these cases if people had listened to him, there could be countless victims saved.

Ultimately the fact Tommy Robinson is popular is due to multiple failures by successive governments and the justice system to be tough on these crimes.
If they did their jobs correctly and made people feel safe, the far right wouldn’t be given a platform.

He was one of the only ones that listened to the victims for many years.

No he wasn’t. What he actually did was to broadcast from outside a court where members of a grooming gang were being tried, in blatant contravention of the judge’s ruling on reporting. He was subsequently jailed for contempt.

I don't particularly agree with everything he's said but this seems an odd comment. What else should he do? What else could he do?

You can change history all you like, but it’s proven fact that he was one of the only ones interviewing the victims and talking about this. People called him a conspiracy theorist etc.

But he was proven absolutely correct.
His cousin was 14 when she was a victim of one of these gangs, so he had skin in the game

He may not be wrong, but he’s not credible. He just has the biggest toy, so can shout the loudest. He’ll turn on Trump eventually too. It’s kids playground stuff.

What could he do? Actually be responsible with the levels of power he now (stupidly) has, and properly research what he’s talking about. It’s a low bar.
