I suppose it should sort of be on here -
My stepfather-in-law, Peter Taylor, has a programme on tonight on BBC2 at 9pm about the Irish Partition, and his 50 years of filmmaking on the troubles etc. It's many publications pick of the week, and well worth watching as a break from the football!
I think Peter Taylor has done more to help the English understand 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland than anyone. He has always maintained an unbiased view and has managed to show things from both sides of the conflict. A true gentleman and one of the journalists I admire most. He also has the most captivating voice, even when describing horrific events, of which there were many. Thanks for the heads up LTL. Much appreciated.
Which Attenborough?Ah thanks Kaito. I'll send that on to him. He's a great bloke, and really knows his stuff. Kind of like the Attenborough of that situation!
I will have to read these publicaciones as I do not have access to UK TV.I suppose it should sort of be on here -

Being unbiased about Northern Ireland is tricky. BBC news certainly isn't as Derry is always referred to as Londonderry in its news programmes.I think Peter Taylor has done more to help the English understand 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland than anyone. If it were Derry then the BBC would be accused of having a nationalist bias. So Derry AKA Londonderry?Being unbiased about Northern Ireland is tricky. BBC news certainly isn't as Derry is always referred to as Londonderry in its news programmes.
The official name, recognised by most in NI, is Derry-Londonderry.If it were Derry then the BBC would be accused of having a nationalist bias. So Derry AKA Londonderry?
Which the BBC should also do, but doesn't!The official name, recognised by most in NI, is Derry-Londonderry.

Johnson's history of lies, deceit and misleading stretch back to his schooldays. His sycophantic government take their lead from him. Corruption and graft throughout.Misleading the House is a serious offence …. The normal result would be suspension or resignation. With this bunch of crooks though ….![]()
