Not if you are on the losing side maybe not.....but a majority is a majority no matter how you want to look at it.
Such a sit statement, sorry mate.

We have to face the fact micro particles are part of our diet. **** a ****ing brickHere is another example of poor information being put to the public. Bio-degradable Plastic is BAD, worse than normal plastic. It breaks down into micro particles and then doesn’t go anywhere.
It is incredible how everyday I hear people talking about Bio-degradable plastic when they don’t know that it’s bad. Not there fault though, it’s the lack of info.

With photo?A Lego brick? They’re looking for a sustainable option right now. Send them an email.
With photo?
They're just being representative of the general public who don't have any more of a plan as to what to do.
They've handled it badly but they've been dealt an impossible hand. Not voting isn't going to make it any easier for them to understand the views of the public and come up with a solution.
This isn't true. And this line of thinking and everyone trying to absolve themselves of blame is why we are in this mess. This is all of their doing, not the public's fault at all. From the very beginning, to the more recently shocking decisions. But don't worry, the one's who have added to the chaos will be long gone soon, with massive pay offs, and books about 'how they told us so' in the pipeline.
I'm looking forward to the results of tomorrows vote, should make some rather uncomfortable reading for a few people.
I think there will be a lot of people doing the same, sadly. What a mess.
Yeah, plenty of demands. And as the result shows it was close enough to warrant the referendum. So, we demanded a referendum did we?
I don't remember that......
Pretty stupid question that didn't need any effort considering the result of the referendum.Plenty of demands, is that your actual answer? Poor effort.
More proof that our beloved incumbant government heaped totally unnecessary austerity onto UK citizens:

This is what I mean by 'long memory'. Never let these people back in. If another government trips up over hard times, never let Tories or right-wing parties back in with their promises of tax cuts. It's a total illusion. Findings like this should convince even the dullest individual that right-wing government is only catering to a small section of society, which gets smaller and smaller as hardship grows, leaving a great swathe to exist on the smallest of welfare help. And there are groups who are quite ready to make this even smaller as an 'incentive' to get out of poverty. The reality is that the present path this PM seems hell bent on sending us down, because for one brief moment in time a tiny majority of the voting public wanted it, will hasten the removal of jobs anyway.
Blatant Brexit lies. The latest is that all EU members after 2020 will have to adopt the Euro. Not true. Both Denmark and the UK have opt-outs in place.

The plastic bag tax is one tax that has really worked. It is second nature for me now to have a few 'bags for life' in the car to go shopping. Proof that a small tax of 5p can change the habits of many. I've said it before, but my daughter is amazed when she comes back from the US how we take old bags to go shopping with - complete opposite of when we are there and go shopping, normally have 10 or 11 plastic bags each shop - what a waste.
Another thing I do, is you know those plastic charity bags that i seem to get 4 or 5 every week? I use them as bin liners if I have nothing to go to charity - not as a saving of a few pennies (I am not tight honest) , but saves me buying a single use plastic bin liner, reduces demand and hopefully production. I also saw an investigation that the stuff in those bags goes towards paying the drivers the shops etc, not actually to charity - if you have old clothes etc to give to charity, take it there yourself. Walk there if you want to save on your carbon footprint.
Every little helps.
EDIT: A quick google and a couple of links about charity bags:

Ah now you are talking a different line. I agree there perhaps should be a change when asking for a referendum like other countries do. Must be past by at least so many %. As for compulsory voting that too may be a way forward although Im not so sure myself on that but could be persuaded.
