Unfortunately there is no way in hell that happens, honestly think the last chance is that the US military turns on him.

But with the leadership purge its hard to see that happening, unless some of the purged quietly retain some influence.

I used to think that there would be a set of clandestine ops waiting on stand by should a US President look to do something as insane as start throwing nukes around without good reason, but now I find it easier to believe that everyone with the power to do something has meekly stepped aside and made no contingency plans.

Whilst not trying in any way to make light of this awful situation, maybe Trump is an Arsenal supporter, so he is trying to up the ante on the nuclear option, so that people will be too scared to go out in daylight, for instance, attending FA Cup semifinals

Trump is sickening . I do think that there will be some unpresidented incidents after tonight...

1. Trump, Vance and Hegseth will end up having an international arrest warrant issued against them.

2. Trump will be unable to rein in Israel who will destroy all Iranian infra structure. Mass civilian casualties which will force countries in the Gulf to come under oressure from their populations not to ally with US. Counties like Saudi and UAE become more unstable.

3. Blockade of Straights of Hormuz will continue and America will not able to solve this. This will lead to acceleration in renewable energy in the West and will be death knell of fossil fuels in developped countries. Asian countries by pass US and negotiate with Iran. All Iranian oil
diverted to Asia. Pro US counties like Philippines will become pro China.

4. Boycotting of US products in Europe.

5. Europe will prevent US using European air bases. Total breakdown in US and UK relations. Hungarian Election to be won.on an anti-American and Anti Russian mandate. UK.government will actively support Democrats. Farage will become irrelivent.

6. Oil to be valued in Chinese yenn. Negative impact on American economy and China overtakes US as the global and econonic superpower. Australia aligns with China.

7. Trump dies within the next 2 years and American courts pursue Hegseth and Vance. Both impeached and jailed but not before press freedom severely limited in US by Trump to restrict reporting on collapse of US economy.

8. Trump's presidency to be seen by historians as akin to Honorious and Fall of Roman Empire.

Quite a lot of wishful thinking mixed into this. A fair chunk of this won’t happen. For starters I’m not sure Israel alone has the conventional weapons to destroy all Iranian infrastructure. Maybe with their nuclear weapons

1 won’t happen. 3 probably will. 4 won’t. Doubt 5 will. Maybe that first part for a time but not the “Farage irrelevant” part (I wish). 6 seems possible but maybe in longer term. Trump dying within 2 years seems like a safe bet but the courts will be too chicken to go after anyone for fear of it being labelled “political persecution of enemies”

Well he's MIGA, made Iran great again, by giving them an opportunity to charge $2m for every ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Which they weren't before. When it was open, before.

Heard that Lloyds were going to charge £100 million for any ship to travel through the straights of Hormuz( Insurance ) .

Iran are doing it for £50 million .

So there are a few ships getting through ( Japanese and Indian ) , and Iran are making money out of it .
