As I said the other day, Reform is absolutely chockablock with antisemitism- while simultaneously supporting Israel in Gaza. The crap Labour got for it is a drop in the ocean to what we will see if Reform do get in.

I thought Ramaphosa responded with dignity. This was clearly aimed at the viewers of Fox News and the accusations have little basis in reality. Trump has , yet again , damaged his reputation. Seems I called it right the other day. Labour trying to re-open the Brexit debate desparately hoping that it will push the (reportedly) inceasing percentage of remainers into supporting them

And this is why they are panicking! Politics is a numbers game. Hard followers are only a base number of core support. It is the "soft" support that gets you wins or not. The ones that just think the others are worse, or the ones that like one or 2 of your policies but don't care enough about the rest and that "soft support" was pretty weak for Labour at the GE however brough them a majority.
With that support being pretty weak it can also flip pretty easily. While the speeches to the public will be "nothing to see here, 4 years until election, just the usual protest vote against whoever is in government", behind closed doors there will be much more of perception of the need to turn the tide as quickly as possible, so that by the time we get to "another 4 years" the polls are in a retrievable position.
This is based on the latest "more in common" poll and of course I expect it is a pretty crude analysis to get to seats (might not be, not looked how it was worked out) because it seems to be from a group that are either hard left or parody (very hard to tell the difference there. lol) but seem very pro Palestine.

..........Context. I don't think they are a parody account. I think they are actually bona fide hard left or at least pro Labour. This was their final poll for the 2024 GE and if anything they over-estimated the switch from Tory to Labour here but it is pretty good. The "pro Palestine Independents" could also be a bigger challenger next GE as well:

Despite being the political animal that I obviously am I did not vote at all for Lincolnshire mayor or local elections this time! And as per my signature I am a genuine bona fide registered citizen of the Independent Kingdom of Mercia for nearly 10 years now. Seems I joined one of those youth movements

Polling 4 years from the next election is just why this country is screwed. We never had this kind og constant polling and approval ratings when I was growing up you voted and then 4 years later they started thinking about winning you around again over the final year. I don’t care how Reform are polling now. Guaranteed to come out with more nonsense by the next election. This is a party that managed to have a huge falling out… with 5 MPs.

We’re in Europe Imps. Maybe look at a map that doesn’t stop at the Channel sometimes. Pretending an entire continent on our doorstep doesn’t even exist is one, though only one, of the many reasons the last half dozen Tory governments were literally the most ineffective in British history. Trying to improve relations with our nearest neighbours in an uncertain world is what any grown up government should be doing; though it does seem increasingly as if Britain isn’t ready a nation of grown ups anymore.

The youth-mobility programme should benefit both sides, as will Britain’s promise to consider rejoining the Erasmus+ student-exchange scheme. The same goes for closer co-operation on data exchange through the Europol policing agency.
Brexshit shouldn't have happened. The slender majority was far to close to make such a momentous decision and all polls, which some on here are fond of quoting, reflect the acknowledgement that brexit was and is a failure.
