Not sure she is any more terrifying than Truss. Sunak doesn’t seem to have a chance in a membership vote

Penny Mordor is now the odds-on favourite across all online betting sites, which is frankly terrifying.

I mean when her chief competition is;

1. Thatcher (Billionaire tax dodging head boy edition)

2. A walking diplomatic incident, successor to the incarnation of sleaze and corruption.

It’s hard to find her anymore terrifying than anyone else.

I guess maybe she is the only one who may be able to restore popularity to the Conservatives, and it is far past time they are booted into the long grass.

Is that because she is a Pompey girl, if not by birth definitely by upbringing, or is it her policies or a mix of both? If she is chosen, she will be the second PM in my lifetime to have come from Portsmouth. If she does become the PM, I would suggest he first meeting should be with Angela Merkel who could give her adviice on proper Conservatve policies. She will need to ditch the ERG, rnegotiate for the UK to rejoin the single market to solve the Northern Ireland impasse and move to the centre ground to become even remotely palatablle.

Rejoin the single market and the customs union means allowing freedom of movement. Snowballs ready here we come.

but she is a confirmed brexiteer FFS.

Really? Meet Canadian Jessica Yaniv.

Jessica has filed at least 15 complaints of discrimination on the grounds of gender identity after a number of beauty salons refused to wax 'her' balls.

In October 2019, the Tribunal ruled against Yaniv and ordered her to pay $6,000 in restitution split equally among three of the service providers. The ruling was critical of Yaniv, with Tribunal Member Devyn Cousineau stating that she "targeted small businesses, manufactured the conditions for a human rights complaint, and then leveraged that complaint to pursue a financial settlement from parties who were unsophisticated and unlikely to mount a proper defence."

She has filed complaints. Which she lost. Your example is of a single individual who has made a nuisance of themselves who was ordered to pay restitution after it was found not to be a civil rights violation. That's the exact opposite of a problem.
