Now I couldn’t give a toss about Hancock and frankly he deserves what’s coming to him, but isn’t it a little concerning in terms of state security that The Sun can get hold of CCTV from inside of a Secretary of States office?

Aside from that it’s just a symptom of what we have always known, cronyism and corruption is rampant in the Government and they are running it for themselves rather than the people of the U.K, as well as directly stealing taxpayers funds.

Usually this wouldn’t get someone sacked (in this government anyway), but it’s clear the Government want rid of Hancock (imagine it’s the government who have leaked this to the Sun) and I imagine he will go now.

I feel sorry for his wife and two boys in all this……once a cheat always a cheat.

The cheatee is also married with three kids, two very selfish people.

Very reflective of the type of personalities involved with power.

I am absolutely astounded that Hancock could attract two women in the first place.

I'm probably being unduly cynical, but it occurs to me that Matt Hancock has become a tad of an embarrassment to Boris, in terms of being found out about his incompetence. And now, The Sun has 'found' a story about Hancock having an affair, which will give Boris a perfect excuse to move Hancock out of the Cabinet, so that he can find someone else to take the blame for any Covid-related health failings.

I could be entirely wrong of course, and the government will defend Hancock to the hilt, as he is clearly a fine upstanding member of society. Yeah, right.

What would Rene say? "You stupid fools. Can't you see that the woman had swallowed her tongue and I was pulling it out using mouth suction."

Will Matt Hancock be fined after admitting he broke Covid law?

Police in England and Wales issued 115,203 fixed penalty notices(27/03/20-16/05/21) for breaches.

Or does the Health Secretary enjoy a free pass from penalties he imposes?
Answers on a postcard please.

I predict the following:

Matt Hancock will retain his job.

There will be no disciplinary action.
