Watching Question Time for the first time in ages.
Fiona Bruce pretty much letting Matt Hancock talk uninterrupted and give a party political broadcast, whilst interrupting Annaliese Dodds, who is also allowing herself to be spoken over by almost everyone. She is too weak to be representing Labour on a programme like this.
The SNP woman has been excellent, but then I am impressed by a lot of the SNP MPs. Terrific speakers.
Regarding the host, maybe it’s time this show copied Have I Got News For You and had guest hosts. You never know that might actually then get a host that has sympathy for the left side of politics, instead of the permanent right wing bias.
Love pictures of happier times..........everybody smiling, everybody happy, despite not having that much money. Not a hollywood smile to be seen in that picture. (Ok the one at the front does pass.) Such a difference to all the moany gits around these days that are pretty flush with lots of trimmings and perfectly straightened and whitened teeth in comparison to back then.
Someone posted a long while back a table/chart that showed the net value to the UK of being in the EU. It included money put in, money given back but also the value we got from deals, income tax, trade, etc...
Anyone remember it and able to post again please.
No point mate, seriously. Brexit is a cult, mere evidence will have zero effect on those who still believe.

There have been some bad Question Time programmes and this was up there. Who was that **** from Brexit?
My bias antenna is pretty well tuned, and I didn't think Bruce was biased. I think she simply lost control. Hancock was like the mate of the school yard's bully, peering round Johnson's flapping jacket to shout "Yah boo sucks. I'm a ****er but you can't get me, loser." I thought Dodd tried hard, but sitting next to that yapping little **** was close to impossible. Of course, she made the huge mistake of trying to reasonably argue her case. Waste of time.

back in the days (late 80s) I worked in a factory in South Wales. This is a great photo of the work force. I'm top right corner.

However, that Indian Sikh lady that just spoke actually brought a round of applause from the No7 house.
Living as a half Indian and half Italian man all my life, what she said hit a chord. I don't want to generalise, but I think most white brits will struggle to realise what she has said and how brits of a foreign (ie of colour) heritage feel. Take away the skin and we all have the same number of bones and the same blood as everyone else.
Well said that lady.
...and breathe.

You obviously haven’t looked at the new deal. Some goods would have tariffs and some wouldn’t. Goods coming from NI (80% of their exports come to Britain) would have tariffs.Would that change if we took up the offered new deal? Wouldn’t we be just as good as staying in?.......Just asking fatso..........
