Osborne is a strange one, apart from not concentrating on the national debt and a few cock ups he has been a relatively successful chancellor. Unfortunately nearly all political careers end in failure.

Apparently the cabinet has recently been less influential on policies than is healthy with Dave and George dominating proceedings. They have been concentrating too much on easing George into Dave's chair, somewhat very unlikely now.

When is he going? Before he can do the party anymore damage? Sounds as if you are looking for a new leader at the same time.

It all depends on the outcome of the referendum. If the country votes out then Boris must be odds on to be PM, he will probably choose another Chancellor.

If as I suspect the remain side will win then Cameron will try to carry on until his chancellor hopefully recovers his reputation to have a shot at being PM. I expect them to realise that their plan is not working after about six months. The future will then depend on the ability to re-unite the party. Maybe they will both be gone within a year.

If the remain side win, then you can be fairly sure there will be a big reshuffle with the outers removed. It would seem a perfect time to push Osborne sideways. If the remain side win then Cameron will quite rightly say that he lead the country down the right path, and his position will be strengthened.

If Cameron stays there is no way Osborne will not remain in his job. They are intrinsically linked.

As Cameron has announced he will not contest the next election he is effectively a dead man walking, his influence has already started to wane.

Not quite right there. Cameron has said he will contest his seat and if elected stay. He just doesn't want to carry on as PM. Far better than to outstay your welcome and be ousted as Maggie was.

I obviously meant contesting as PM. Very few politicians leave office on their terms so quite unusual. I do not see any prospect of a vote of no confidence in the government.

Labour MP's very unhappy with Corbyn's lame response in parliament today.

Blair and Brown were intertwined with the city financiers, remember Fred the Shred. Peter Mandelson, the architect of New Labour, epitomised the Labour Party who remarked "The Labour Party is intensely relaxed about people getting filthy rich" He obviously knew the intentions of Tony Blair.

The LP were particularly incompetent with defence spending and PFI hospital schemes. They bloated the state for purely political means, shocking government.
Blair , Brown and Mandelson were all part of the Bilderberg group ..the same people who groomed Thatcher ...Maybe the truth is that there is no such thing as democracy . We imagine we have a political choice , but is this really the truth ?
As an aside I'm certainly happy labour dropped the silly "New " tag .

It was not the political thread that Norway left over, but again my point was that others have left before and you were trying to place people leaving all at the door of one person.

I don't line up with anyone, if I fundamentally disagree with someone I will say so..I probably agree with SH more than most and I don't rise to his deliberate fishing trips and find it highly amusing when others do and then throw their hands in the air when he casts his net again. First rule of the internet is to ignore trolls, but surely if you give someone a big fat juicy worm you can hardly complain when they go fishing with it. Because of this, many gloss over points that they would agree with - including you. A very good example is the tax changes in the Budget - at the time and again today SH stated that he did not believe tax reductions were a good idea at this time, I also believe that (even though they give me more disposable) and you even stated it. Yet we are portrayed on here are not caring monsters....

Sadly the only interest is in peddling his own views and stereotypically abusing those disagreed with...

I shall flip back to ignore content myself as there is virtually no attempt at relating on a cordial level....

Seemingly a troll gets their thrills by winding up others.... sad.....

Might just do the same to both of them.
