I've gone back and checked the first few posts. You gave a different opinion the OP and Dutch and Erik both gave full, sensible arguments against your point. I realise they said the "Aare you a policeman?" and "Bury your head" comments, but they were hardly anything strong and they still offered a full explanation as to why they disagree with you. There was no problem there, the debate was still happening. It definitely doesn't qualify as name-calling or trolling.

Having looked back, I stand by the claim that you are crying. People have disagreed with you sensibly and you go off with all this 'I can't say anything' stuff. It's not true at all. Just keep arguing if you want or agree to disagree if it's going nowhere. But no one wants to read all the sarcastic forum rules stuff.
 
In fact if it was not so bloody windy I would have flown over the KC stadium to see if there was any of those money grabbing policeman still claiming double time with a day in hand, makes my blood boil it does ha ha

There are a lot of sources onto hooligan groups, and the official ticket sales have didly squat to do with anticipated trouble. People who buy tickets are the ones sat in the stand behaving. The cops would have been worried about the ones who travelled up without tickets for a fight. No one on here, including me, has any idea what the intelligence said may happen.

Take away the dogs, etc, and you may have seen a small band of supporters feel like they may have got away with a good scrap.

I watched the game and remember the first half spanking. I think it is pathetic to have a dig at what turned out to be a safe match with no trouble. Sounds like a sucess story, to me.

The Police don't work for free, so whether it was a shift change or normal time, it still pulls resources away from real crime away from the stadium.

While they're using up shift time watching football, unless they're grossly over-manned they can't be investigating burglary or whatever there midweek functions are.

As for those 'turning up for a fight' the 20+ coppers on the train with six Londoners would perhaps have a clue.
 
The money it costs City, £60,000 a game doesn't go into the pockets of the officers at the game. The police get normal rates, often having to work rest days or swap shifts and City are charged some ridiculous amount for each officer, Sargeants and higher officer, and the money goes into police funds. It is a nice little money earner with the added benefit of exercising the horses at someone else's expense. It is in the police's interest to e aggregate the possibility of trouble to keep numbers and revenue up. There has been trouble at rugby matches, fighting on the itch for example and coaches bricked but there are no police there for the simple reason they can 't screw any money out of the rugby clubs.
As for yesterday the person who says about fans travelling without tickets is talking through their hat. Millwall fans have to provide ID before being issued with a ticket and it is simple to enforce a ticket only admission on the day in the North Stand. Any thinking of trying to get into the home stands would stick out like a sore thumb even to our clueless police hopefully. Although given their usual policy of only arresting City fans and not daring to tangle with away fans perhaps they wouldn't eject them as they should do for breaking ground regulations.

'Camp mans camper van gypsy adventures'

It has a a certain ring( no pun intended) to it.

You could visit gypsy camps up and down the country in your camper van trying to 'out' gay travellers.

It'd be great viewing.

You could start with that Paddy Doherty bloke.
 
I'm seeing you in a rainbow coloured VW campervan now Chazz. C4 would buy that without a second thought and we'd all watch it but say we hated it ofc, reality ****e.

This thread is boring in the extreme. Apart from paranormal's camper van getting a good scrub. That made me sit up a bit. I know p.c Cocorans dad you know. FC won. I missed me dental appointment. Had leg of Lamb for tea,****ing lovely slow cooked greek style affair. Weathers a bit autumnal. Just saying xx
