Fair enough but the 'tax scheme' was never 'legal', ie HMRC had never approved it. It was a loophole which HMRC closed as it was an abusive attempt to avoid/evade paying tax ... and of course, enabled the club to 'buy' players whom it could not, otherwise, have afforded.

CW put the final nail in the coffin alright but Murray was the real culprit - ran up the debt & then ran away ... with a quid in his pocket.

You think King is the answer now?

Bottom comment is by David Griffiths of Follow Rangers. This is just one of many tweets he's currently deleting at an incredible speed. He's also blocking anyone who supports Celtic or has anything remotely taigish in their Twitter history (including yours truly).
