Oh, come on! None of us, including the know-it-all press, knows what's in that contract. Only the club and Pochettino, and a few lawyers and agents know for sure. Anything else is pure supposition.

The official announcement says "five year deal", it doesn't say "five year deal with clauses incase he is crap", plus the clauses are rumours from twitter so while there may be clauses, no one actually knows what they are unless we're treating the mirror as ITK.
So you are saying you don't know its a concrete 5 year no clause deal then? Good. Stop using that as one of your sticks to beat him with then.
Its very easy to say "X was the wrong choice, we should have gone with Y" because 99% of football managers end up failing. Even SAF and Wenger at points in their reigns could have been said to have failed and supporters were calling for their heads.
You saying Pulis was the right man doesn't make it so, but i imagine if Poch doesn't last 20years you'll be on here with a "i told you Pulis was the one".
What is much harder than criticising every appointment and pretending you know better is to back the man the club picked and in any teeny-tiny way possible as a fan make it more likely he will be a success. I'm gonna do that.
Exactly! so as it stands, its a "five year contract", until we actually know what the clauses are (which we won't) then Pochettino will be known as our new manager on a "five year contract!".
We would only ever find that out, when he's sacked.
fixed.
Levy announced Pochettino as our new manager, on a five year contract, anything else is speculation, so unless someone can provide us with proof of these clauses then its a five year contract.
I'm pretty sure that under Levy our average length of time for a manager is no different from the PL as a whole. With Levy anything's possible, of course. Equally, if he is successful, he may well do to us what he's done to Saints!..
why do clubs give managers anything more than 2 year deals? if he has a bad season he'll be out of the door by this time next year..
he won't,he wanted assurances from Levy he would be given time if he agreed to join, and was given it
I doubt Levy will be giving him time if he has a similar start to Ramos
Won't mind if he wins a cup for us
Those who have worked with him claim Pochettino, who played at the 2002 World Cup, is high maintenance. He sulks if results go against him and was spending less time on the training field towards the end of last season. By then, this ambitious man had decided to leave Saints. Itâs Spurs, as ever, who have gambled on him.
