Surprised there's even an awareness that such activity exists, in leafy Surrey Roller :emoticon-0140-rofl:

We were looking to move a couple of years ago and saw this house, not far from where we live, with some amazing security. The whole property was security fenced with an electronic gate, security cameras everywhere which could be viewed from any room in the house and the owner gleefully demonstrated a series of light beams that completed surrounded the house that made it impossible to get or our of the house without setting off the alarms. We don’t live in a bad neighbourhood here, it is leafy Surrey after all, he must have been into some form of mischief to need that level of protection. We didn’t buy the house just in case his enemies didn’t know that he’d gone!

even allowing for the Soprano overtones. Unless you have copyrighted it, I will use it as the title.

I didn't even connect it to the Sopranos TBH. Good spot.

Looking at this makes me want to watch it all over again. (NWS link.)

Easy Roller! SB's far too cool for that. (Certainly wouldn't mention his travels if he were!)

Q - Why the quick protective reaction, Brixton?

A - Only natural down this way, eh Coldharbour?!!

Good to see you watching my back Brix. Oh that I did something glamorous...just work in an international role for a US headquartered multinational. Fortunately I really enjoy it so I can live with the damage to my body clock and tedium of airports. Price I pay for declining frequent requests to relocate to the Mid West. Makes investment in a season ticket dodgy though, bit unpredictable.
Thought we covered all this in one of Nines' threads - 'who the **** do you think you are" or 'are you looking at my pint' or something from a few weeks ago.
My solicitors will be in touch regarding the gratuitous libel, Mr Roller.

They're re-running the whole lot on Sky Atlantic mate. I didn't see it the first time around and I absolutely love it. Brilliant writing and acting. Starts series 6 next week!!

I've got all the episodes on DVD and do just start watching it all over again every so often. It is brilliant. We could start a new thread discussing the final episode.....

Yes please. In the silly season perhaps when Col's seen it all. I've just decided to have a re-watch start to finish.

Please don't lads! I haven't seen a single episode but know that I will love it. Miami Steve van Zandt as a gangster - brilliant. Intend to get the DVDs or download from iTunes, but have enormous box sets of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm to get through first. If you start a thread I will be drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

You are on Telfy. Col you better catch up quickly.

As a slight aside, I'm waiting on Steve Van Zandt's autobiography. The E Street Band's guitarist and then Sil in The Sopranos, that will be a great book.

SB, you can't do this to us, we are primed and ready to go.

Can only watch one episode each week mate!! If you do a thread describing the last episode, please do me a favour and tell us all in the thread title that you are discussing it so that those of us who want to can avoid it!!

<ok> No problem Col. I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone tbf. If you're just starting Season 6 you've still got another 21 episodes to go so we'll have pick this up again in September.
