Percy, what do you expect our final league position to be this season and why?

I can't see how anyone could be negative now given the way the squad is shaping up.

I'm sorry are you serious?? So your telling me football players dont go to a club and say... THIS is the minimum i will play for if you dont pay it i'm walking. Half football players on the planet demand what wages they get, they may not get exactly but they get close to it. Especially if the club wants them badly enough

I agree but if you was Jimmy Bullard and in front of you was a 45K a week package, would you of would not have signed? I sure as hell would of, so all i am saying is don't judge players on prices or wages. Judge them on what they do on the pitch and in Jimmys case thats **** all.

Percy's absence is telling.. he can't slate City's tactics against LFC & he can't defend Bullard.. he might have sth to say about AP buying Hull FC..

Nope...

I've probably given up on him staying here though, can't see him playing for us again unless something drastic happens. The best I could hope for is that we can't shift him before the end of the transfer window and Pearson's been given the boot by the time the next one starts.

Which Pearson?

Just when everything looks rosy in the garden NP pops round the neighbours and starts pulling up their weeds instead.. he probably feels he's put City back on the right track (true) and we're in capable hands with the Allams (too early to tell) and he needs a new challenge (his prerogative). Whatever he decides he's a hero in my book two times over.. Shame he didn't choose KR but there you go..

And then part of me thinks is there more to this than meets the eye? By taking over FC does this help the stadium buyout project in some way? Is he in bed with the Allams on this... I'm not enough of a business mind to work it out but it could smooth the sheets in some way..

He was in charge of the SMC during his previous reign, he also launched KCFM, neither took him away from his involvement in football, it's certainly not a foregone conclusion that it will this time either.

OLM, I mentioned it on the AP thread, but he has always had other business interests during his reigns with us, and when he was at TWS and Derby. Some of them were sport related, others weren't. If Allam had any concerns that there was a conflict of interest AP would not still be head of football operations.

AP was also a director of SMC this time round, he resigned in April last year.

I too hope that this will not cause him to leave us. As you say, it's not a foregone conclusion that he will

The fact that he dosn't actually know himself at this point is what I find most strange.
There has also been other little signs, in some of his recent interviews he has come across as being "out of the loop"
