Is there a time and place i can go and pay in cash?

We can do it in person on matchdays at the William Gemmell. Not many of those for a while now though obviously.

I thought the member numbers would be higher , I am one of those who has always said I will do it later . Just signed myself and my 5 month old up . She can't talk yet but I can see it in her eyes and nappies that she thinks Ehab is a right knobhead

It's the same with all trusts really. Man United have a free membership option which makes them really popular. It's something I want to look at the HCST because I do think that parting with money, however small, is one of the biggest turnoffs.

Join the trust, who are apparently campaigning for concessionary prices, who encouraged fans to boycott a vote on concessionary prices and by effect have ensured we do not have them.

I will not fund the lofty hidden agendas of a self serving gentlemans club.

The flip side is that if people pay a nominal amount they feel more ownership and involvement. Join free and you have, literally, no buy in
It’s a similar problem to running events where you give free tickets. You can always guarantee that loads of people won’t turn up because they got them free whereas if people pay even £1 they’re much more likely to turn up

You could have reduced prices, or even free, for the really young or the really old though?....

What, you mean like sort of concessions?

Cheers OLM, we can't say this enough. It's not so much about the membership fee we get, but being able to demonstrate that we have thousands of fans behind us would make us infinitely stronger. We already know that the vast majority do back us, but by signing up as a member it makes it impossible for the club or anyone else to ignore. The biggest obstacle to getting new members is simply inertia; it's human nature to leave it until later and eventually forget about it. It's the same with trusts and membership organisations across the country. It's easy enough to do, so if you do support us but aren't a member please consider signing up now!

Done. I'll be a HCST partner as well so expect your membership to go through the roof.

It's already only £2 for U16's.

Pre internet this free Man U membership allowed you to phone up and register your name in a ballot for tickets. As a work colleague discovered on opening his quarterly BT bill - the number was premium rate. Eldest son not the most popular.

It was tongue in cheek!

That’s good though. To be honest I’d not considered family members. I think my Grandkids might be getting unexpected presents! (It will be particularly unexpected for the girl that lives in Ealing and whose father is a lifelong Leicester City fan!)

I just joined for 3 years. Bargain for 11 of your English pounds.

I had never joined previously as at one point I seem to remember it was for season ticket holders only? Did I dream that?
