I'd quite like you to bid for Chester now, go on, have a go, you know you want to. Ahmed Elmohamady yesterday, Stephen Quinn this morning, David Meyler hopefully arriving when the emergency loan window opens and we're still waiting on a Premier League loan striker this afternoon. It's quite exciting, we normally don't normally have any involvement in the final transfer day flurry.
Really? What sort of fee? Could well see him down here then. This is not wumming but if he does leave i can maybe see gally going the other way. Clearly a great player technically but just doesnt work here.
It turns out it's a six month loan and apparently both you and Forest have had a go, but it seems it's about sorted, he's in Burnley already.
I'd guess we were looking for a permanent move, not too fussed as the way he comes across on the Hull board, he sounds alot like Dyer. EDIT done now anyway, sounds like a loan with view to a permanent http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/8037264/Clarets-land-Stewart
Just shows the championship. 6 months ago he was being asked for £4m or whatever. Now he is on loan at Burnley. Ross mccormack was wanted by the prem. 6 months later he was being sold within the champ and being forced to play on the wing. Its such a form division.
Not bothered one bit about Stewart. Marshall, Knockaert and Dyer are all better then him No doubt Stewart has potential though
Doncaster have signed Iain Hume on loan from Preston. Im loved Hume when he was here. Shame because he hasnt been the same player since he was assaulted by Chris Morgan
As if they've loaned him to a fellow championship side 6 months ago he was 'only going to stay or go to the PL'.
I guess we thought we'd loan him to a lesser side in the same division in the hope he regains his old form whilst he's not in the first team picture, hence why you, Burnley and Forest were the 3 interested clubs.
Rumour on twitter is that Billy Sharp has signed for the Florist, apparently from Fourth Official or one of his sources....probably BS
Foxestalk on about some lad from Mansfield - Matt Green. Think sources maybe from a dodgy twitter account??
So we signed 7 new players with 13 players leaving. Nowhere near as busy and exciting like last year when we was bidding 7M+ for strikers. But look how it turned out The loan window opens in a few weeks so there could be some movement then
