My point is 2.Bundesliga is like the Championship so to score 17 goals is a bigger achievement than to score 30 goals in the blue square league.
Bundesliga 2 is a crap league and nothing like the championship. Just like Kris Boyd tearing the SPL apart but failing in this league Yes and we know Vardy is the same thing but he is alot cheaper and we can afford to take it
Vardy = non league . IF that's all it takes to get your fans dancing with joy.. How times have changed from when you was urging the club to blow 6m on a striker Seriously you must be worried about the piss poor signings Nigel is making I hear Nigel only went back so he could take LcFc down in revenge for giving him the boot,
You mean Jelavic who is now a success in the premier league? Plus you do realise all the good players at HCFC were bought in by Pearson & Co? so yeah, obviously he never signs anyone good, or maybe they just look better because of the piss poor team you had before he came in.
It makes me laugh how the Hull fans slag our players and Nigel off when our players are better then there's and before Nigel Hull City was a complete and utter mess
Anyway back in reality...Steve Bruce continues to bring in mediocre players...we have now completed the signing of Sone Aluko...just search for him on youtube and see how crap he is <wink>
I've no idea if it's true, but there's a suggestion in these parts that the £500k clause can only be activated by a Premier League club and it's Reading we've got to worry about.
Steve Bruce has confirmed anyone can activate it. If he leaves he leaves. It doesnt matter who he signs for you will still be weaker and get crap money for him. I would like him but wont be too bothered if we didnt get him. We have a young midfield with King, Drinkwater, Marshall and James and have Danns and Wellens as the experienced players
That would make sense tbf, as Pearson wont mess around with it being such a low release price, he'd rather get him in as early as possible if he wanted him.
Dont think we need Koren. Where would he play ? The only gap we have for him is left wing, and that would be a waste. Competition is too great for our central midfield, and quite frankly, I would rather have Marshall as the attacking midfielder. James, Drinkwater and Danns look a class midfield with King and Wellens as back up. As for Vardy, he looked an excellent signing from his first performance in a royal blue shirt albeit against weak opposition. Time will tell, but he and Nugent looked to have a good understanding together. Really excited about this season. Congrats on getting Aluko - he looks a decent signing. Shame he will be wearing orange.
Think they prefer it if we called orange "Amber" Agree about Koren though, plus it would be done by now if it was going to be done at all.
yeah - and I would prefer to be seen as a double for Brad Pitt rather than Harold Steptoe - but at the end of the day, orange is orange
How narrow minded are you? So if you looked at the 2. Bundesliga table, where would you finish? Because I highly doubt you have a better squad than Koln, Kaiserslautern, Hertha Berlin, Bochum, Cottbus or St Pauli. In fact, I know you don't. To be honest, neither do we. It's a strong league; granted, Koln and Kaiserslautern weren't in it last year, but it shows Proschwitz has the answer to our goal scoring problem and should do fine. The Vardy argument is a non starter. I made a similar point about Hearn at Grimsby last year, the goal stays the same size at every level throughout the football pyramid, so if somebody is banging in 30 goals for a side, people are going to sit up and take notice. A lad that scored 40 odd goals for Altrincham (who play in the Blue Square North and finished 12th) has just signed for Gillingham. It happens a lot because people recognise talent when they see it. It seems like only yesterday that Grant Holt was a Forest reject, but he's gone on to become a PL goal scorer. How many Norwich fans groaned when they saw they'd signed some nobody from Shrewsbury? I bet they feel like a bunch of nitwits.
