Yes, remember him.....but he wasn't English! Where was he born? Can't remember/

Q: Where do the English cricket team stay in South Africa?

A: With their parents!!!

to be fair, if the South Africans, New Zealanders or whoever want to claim him then crack on!

thankfully our thirst for auto promo will be satiated on 13.9.11, when we puncture the gas air ballon, 2-0 at the memorial ground. whilst there do try their pies, no veg little meat but a delicate pastry that melts in your hands and not your mouth.

The main impression one gains from this is of no time scale. Once various processes have been undertaken it could be a few years before building would commence and that is speaking from our own experience. The community/supporter involvement is similar to our own. In the intervening years, how will the debt be managed? By more personal loans and will they be entirely covered by the sale of the Memorial Ground?

according to the chairman, we would be starting the building work as soon as the council gives the go a head and apparently that will be as soon as jan. chairman is looking to be in the new stadium by 2012/13 season. if we lose another million like the last year, that will still be covered with the sell of the mem. even if it takes 3 years, we are covered :)

All these projections fail to take into account the NIMBYs. Even with the consultations that are taking place, you will always get a proportion that will manage to prolong the process. They are amenable to having a Sainsburys on their doorstep but not a football club.

As fans, you need to encourage your Chair to stop the club losing 'another' million. Not paying as many high wages, having less players or backroom staff, encouraging more fans, increasing ticket prices, earning other revenue from the club, sponsorship, etc.

when you get to your new ground it will not be in a built up areas and the opportunities to raise cash through gigs and concerts will be there. such classics as no milk today from hermans hermits, dedicated to dunfords dairies, and other modern bands/ singers will keep the tills jingling.

we are having open sessions with the locals wher ethe new stadium will be to get the opinions to take their concerns into account when the plans get put forward to the council in an effort to get the locals on side.
we were going to re-develope our current stadium and the locals were against it and have been fighting it. now a retail park will be having the stadium, the locals seem happier to have that instead of a football/rugby stadium. things looking good.

we have. new manager has brought in new belief. we will have a higher average attendance than last season, our high earners have been shown the door and the sell or our top striker hoskins has helped. however my point was it makes no difference if we continue to lose a million a year as we will end up being debt free anyway.
