Win our next 2, West Brom and Borough both have tough away fixtures coming up next. Could easily and very plausibly be 7 points off with 16 to play by this time next week.

We are going up.

Possible FACT.

Your not factoring in Huddersfield, forest, Luton etc. Winning the next 2 games.

Winning our next 2 games is more likely to close the gap by 2 points at best.

I obviously would prefer that you are right and I am wrong. FACT

I worked out the average points for 6th place in the last 8 seasons is 75.4 points.

That would be 43 points from 18 games. So you're talking 13 wins and 3 draws from 18 games. It's no impossible but it's vvery unlikely.
Bloody hell, I didn't realise I'd been blocked by so many people on here!

Win as many as we can and see where we are with 6 games to go, can't see us getting there but you never know, each season one team comes with a mad rush, why can't it be us ?

Favourable run coming up, I wouldn't rule anything out with this team. That being said the best teams to play at the end of a season are the ones who have accepted they aren't making play offs but have also done well enough to avoid relegation.

Re: going on a barnstorming run to get promoted from nowhere.
I'm sure CPFC did something like that under Dowie about 15 years ago. So it's possible.
