plastic fans?

I don't really get supporting more than one team, you can respect the way another team plays, or have a soft spot for another team due to family etc, but you can't really support two teams.

agree with that, Hull City is the team i've only ever gone to matches on a regular basis, I don't go week in, week out because I don't live in Hull anymore and its expensive, but I will always support them. I do have a soft spot for Liverpool and for Spurs, Liverpool because of family and Spurs because I worked for them for 2 years

I don't have a second team. I support Celtic and that's all.

I know a lot of Scots who support an English team as their 2nd team. I've never really understood it but each to their own I suppose.

If you're turning up to the games and paying the money then fair enough, every clubs going to gain more fans as they get better and lose them as they get worse its life.

Everyone has a 2nd club they like to watch anyway for me its Arsenal.

you just ruined it with that second paragraph..

I appear to have balls, just checked.

You said "Everyone has a second team they like to watch". That is bollocks. I don't.which ****s up your point completly. Without me there is no everyone.

I'm 44

Not arguing, just disagree with you

I see pepole with second teams (even to watch) as arsewipes. As soon as they've had enough of City they'll be back to their other team.

I may watch other games on the box and think "they played well", but I certainly wouldn't state "they're my second team" because that is what I expect from the plastic **** stains this thread is about.

Watching England is different numb nuts, and I certainly don't (recently) enjoy or like it.

Shut up you pish and wind bag. Go and get your hole or something. Serious.

What about Scots who support an English team? A Wesh guy who supports a Scots team. Someone from Belfast who supports Rangers? I could go on. I know I've bit before you start ballbag. I support Celtic and see a few matches a season but I have a season card at Cliftonville. £110.

Do you think said Scots will fork out to go watch an English team instead of watching their local team? I think not. Support your home team, not some team who are miles away just because they're Catholic when you live in EIRE!

KPR on the Liverpool board. He is Irish and goes on about Liverpool like he actually is from liverpool. Plastic thick ****

I am not a Catholic and I don't live in EIRE but anyway. I presume you will be informing Medron and the other Ulster Gers fans to stop supporting them?

Has sevenoaks got a football team?

yep, living here in France I often get asked by my trainees, locals etc which team in France I support and I take a deep breath and say "none of them", I hope they're not too offended but it's the truth. I've been invited to Lyon matches a few times but I've got no emotional attachment so I don't really care if they win or lose; I was quite happy for them when they beat Liverpool in the CL.

Then there's teams like Derby County who I used to go and see with my student mates, again I'm not a supporter of the Rams it's a soft spot.

Goztepe (in Izmir, Turkey) I also used to go to games there, most Turks support one of the big 3 Istanbul teams so I took pleasure in saying I supported Goztepe - they do have a fanatical following...

But if it came down to Hull City drawing Goztepe in the Europa league (pigs might fly) then there would be no question.. hell that would be some draw..
