Suppose quite a few ex pats run bars overseas.

Imagine if Shaks was in Spain, and couldn't ask for a beer <laugh>

    Not surprised.

Do you live in an area highly populated by ex pats?

Is it the dream you imagined?

Evening all, must say I am sad to see the mess that YOUR club is in. My son lives in Leeds and makes the odd trip to ER when there is a free ticket available. He is not really a football fan, but his 9 year old lad is and was thrilled to meet some of the players no matter what you think of them.

It is very easy to take hold of and embrace someone who holds out the promise of better days, but at Watford we have been there and to read the goings on in the High Court last week suggest that you really do have to look behind the facade of the promises.

I don't know how you can get out of this as the facts are not complete to me, or probably your fan base. Just hope that you do find a way, but keep going, one day things will look brighter.

I am afraid to say that there is no such thing as a quick fix. As a small boy I watched my team apply to the FL for re-election to play in the old third division having finished second from bottom. It took ten years for them to achieve a promotion.

Leeds is a city with a large population that should be able to support a football team, and the number of fans who turn up despite everything show that they could achieve much more than they have over the past years. Attendances however do not mean a lot if the owners don't have the same passion for the club as the fans. Just look at the demise of Portsmouth.

I had doubts from the beginning about our last owner and was proved right. He was good at saying the right things, but was a crook with past history, and I see the same problems, not quite the same but similar, to your would be owner. The difference is that we had someone, Lord Ashcroft who didn't want to be involved but had money invested, and he didn't do administration. Your problem seems to be a "bank" who have to borrow money to keep the ship floating and we don't know what they will do.

It is easy to think "why always us", but I could point you at many clubs who have been at the top and today are no where. Just think about a club not far away who had been around for 100 years before it all went belly up. Halifax Town A.F.C.

The financial problems build over time and the bigger the club the greater the demands to find money are. Smaller clubs such as mine still have problems, but in scale they are not so great.

We will watch and wait what comes out next week, but despite some of the less intelligent comments that appear from time to time, let's hope that the best outcome for you the FANS appears.

Maybe were being a little unfair on Cellino. Bates was a total ****er, gfh as bad. Cellino already put more of his own money into the club than the previous two combined. We should try to judge Cellino on his own merits and not attach previous crap to him.he s also trying to buy in when we are probably at our worst ever point in the clubs history, every bit as bad as last time we did admin. By Tuesday evening, I'm sure hell have been rejected anyway and well be likely pinning our hopes on the next great saviour.

REGARDLESS of all the talk about wages, the players should be ashamed for what happened at Bournemouth – there’s been far too many of those this season.

First of all, fans are entitled to have a go. They pay good money to watch their side and that gives them the right.

Criticism should never get personal. But the players need to be giving more back.

I don’t know how much, but the off-the-field situation must be affecting the players with everything that has been going on. They will be worried about payments and stuff like that.

But as a player, you just have to get on with it and hope it will get sorted out.

Their performances have been up and down all season. But you can’t say it’s all to do with what has been going on.

Words from Andy Ritchie and I have to agree, we were lucky at the start of the season 5th flattered us and I always said the tables won't lie come the end of the season, I don't doubt for a minute the off field antics are now having a say but we were poor long before the first Cellino rumour started.

See your point, many other clubs have gone thru the same or worse,
    But the fans allways suffer,
As much as I love the banter etc,I dislike seeing fans suffer,I even signed a millwall petion to save some of their land!

esteonawhite, I suggest that you can see the bigger picture of what has happened over the years to football clubs and not for the better. What has become obvious to me is that those who cry for unlimited investment in a team to solve the problems really should not complain if an over paid player does not feel the same love for a club as someone struggling to find the price of a match day ticket. Get player wages down, make game attendance more affordable for the fans, make the owner tests even harder, stop clubs raising short term cash by selling next seasons ticket money, I could go on.

Sorry I shouldn't be here, but the way that some owners are taking the clubs, really winds me up.

Players earning a normal working blokes annual wage in a week, annoys me,to say the least.
Then get asked to pay 30 or more quid to go and watch, well the same
I really don't know where it willl end,
    Clubs can't break even,
Then FFP hits in so if you spent the cash a few years ago,a la chelski, citeh, your fine.
But a new owner can't do it.
It's all ****ed up and I'm ****ed off,as are many fans I guess.
