The problem is Bates has talked more sense in two interviews this week than smiley, noodles and fat Cnut Tory have in a year. I feel dirty for even thinking it.

His comments about cooper were overblown but at least in part correct. I got shouted down last year when I said " be careful what you wish for".

He mentions Steve Parkin, Ken Bates knows Steve tried to put money in but Mr Bates (who used to be parkins good mate) ****ed Steve over and then refused to deal with him they also nearly came to blows in the boxes a few seasons ago

Always follow the money. Bates is positioning himself to take over if Cellino loses tomorrow.

The worry being, is Harvey giving Bates the heads up of what tomorrow's result will be?

TBH I think I would have to give up on football if this ended with Bates back in charge. We all said or assumed that the worse case scenario would be that even if GFH didn't have enough cash to get us promoted we would at least be shot of bates and the long trail of hidden accounts and money vanishing. We felt that at least when GFH sell us it will be swift and easy and no prolonged due diligence. We couldn't have been more wrong, what a disgrace this is to every single Leeds supporter.

Cellino will get the nod this week and McDermott will get the sack. The QC will overturn the FL's decision, the FL can then say they did their part in imposing their rules but the decision was ultimately out of their hands.

    CELLINO - THE FINAL SOLUTION

Out with the dross, out with McDermott

    Let the new era begin

If the QC is truly independent and if he truly specialises in Italian law, there is no reason why he won't get the nod.

Hopefully that scenario will play out, but I think it is worth having McDermott given the chance to show what he can do under a regime where he does not have all this crap hanging over him and the players. In November we were 5th. In November, the rumours of takeovers started flying, and GFH stopped paying the wages and got others to pump cash in. Uncertainty started then - form disappeared then, fans and players became restless and listless respectively.

I htink he will sack him pretty quick if he gets the nod - but there's a chance he won't just yet, and I won;t be too concerend if that is the outcome

Except that the Italian equivalent of the Football League dismiss owners from their version of the F&PP test for guilty convictions regardless of the appeals process.

    He has no chance.

He has a chance because some might want to find a way that doesn't risk the future of a club whose fan base lays golden eggs for loads of smaller clubs.

Look what has happened in Scotland since the sfa raped rangers.

The clubs voted on having Rangers put into division 3.

Also, this is the same desperate plea from the same fans who said he'd pass the first time.

It's flogging a dead horse and I'm tired of it. GFH are only going forward with this desperate attempt because they've been offered a big sack of money and that's all they can see

What if the Farnan and co bid is all hot air and you replace their name with Cellino? What's your pick?

You see, that may be the precise problem - Cellino may not be an option. No use blaming the FL for following their own rules, and it is likely he has a more shady past than we are fully aware of.

So what are our other options? You may all be calling for "Farnan in" soon

Cellino or GFH or Farnan or GFH are the same as far as I am concerned. GFH offer us no future the other two a chance but neither the owners I would choose but beggars can't be choosers...

Found this tweet. Might be a lot of bollox, but you never know. The conversation goes on to reveal that Cellinos lawyers have found a loophole & Harvey has indicated that the appeal will go through. Guy apparently lives beside Harvey. Who knows, but I've just raised my confidence level from 0% to 1%.

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a bombshell, if there ever was one!

My thought on this was the test is whether a reputable justice system has convicted the applicant of an offense. The appeal based on when a person is considred "guilty" in Italy was pretty weak I thought. However, if the Italian footballing authorities view the initial verdict as indicative of guilt, then I agree with Cojones, and feel MC really has no chance.

However, we ought to remind ourselves - this is the Football League we are talking about! Anything can happen.
