Phonecall with Bates

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a bombshell, if there ever was one!

My thought on this was the test is whether a reputable justice system has convicted the applicant of an offense. The appeal based on when a person is considred "guilty" in Italy was pretty weak I thought. However, if the Italian footballing authorities view the initial verdict as indicative of guilt, then I agree with Cojones, and feel MC really has no chance.

However, we ought to remind ourselves - this is the Football League we are talking about! Anything can happen.

That is what the Football League said. Their decision was based on how the Italian football authorities would deal with the matter. A guilty conviction means you're out, regardless of appeals. You can try again when your appeal has been heard.

So what have the Italian fa done ? because he is an owner there.Suspended, banned told him to sell ? you know nothing about Italian law.If there was no chance he would not bother to appeal as it would cost lots of money and rich people didn't get rich by wasting money.

The number of rules that have been ignored so far by this man is astounding anyway. Trying to sack McDermott, trying to reconfigure the team to include a player that wasn't eligible to play (might I add this one would have resulted in a points deduction).

He's plowing ahead with an appeal not because he thinks he has a chance, he hopes he has a chance and is clueless to the actual rules.
