2+2 =5 ....... simples!
The fact he was keen to step up to the first team to progress his career, and now on being offered a return to that specialist role he has said it wouldn't be the right step for his career. He has his sets higher now and that's fine.
Let's see where he ends up, as we won't wait long.
not immediately assuming this is somehow the Allams' fault.
Who's assuming that? It's progression of the chain; one steps up and someone takes tjheir place, and so on. Pethaps he thought what a **** thing itcwould be to hoy out his replacement, so he simply made the right noises and left - I doubt he receivef much more than his notice if they offered him an alternative. It could equally just be ambitin; we don't know, do we?
People seem keen to blame the club for pushing him into the first team. Unless people are blaming Phelan for that?
I thought he made his own choice. Move on, it's a moot point.

Phone, fingers and Bombay, but did you get the gist?
Kind of - just.
Bombay Sapphire was my late Mum's favourite drink. She didn't drink often, but if she did - that was always her preferred choice.
We've still got an unopened bottle I bought for her in Easter 2014. Sadly she never got to enjoy it.

Have a little drink (kill it with orange if you're not keen) every year on her birthday, at least 32 years of memory toasts right there.![]()

Who's Jon Beale?
