Tony Pulis would be one of the oddest managerial appointments ever, do Sunderland have any players over 6'5?

The same Italian journalist that broke the story - and revealed the giaccherini deal - says DiMatteo isn't sure and the club want an experienced English (read British) manager. That leaves a limited choice of limited managers.

George Graham
Pardew (please)

Lee Clark (:))

Pardew's English. Get rid of him and get some compensation at the same time.

What are the odds on Joe Kinnear getting the job? If any one can perform miracles at Sunderland it's him. Didn't he invent total football?

Same bloke said RDM is a dead cert according to some lads on our board. Neither of you provided links.

Unlikely they'll go for RDM or Poyet; both too young and the latter also has no Prem experience. No, it's gotta be someone who's managed at the top before. What about Phil Brown, isn't he from there?!

Aye, but they don't have many tan shops in Sunderland so he won't be interested.
George Graham or Glenn Hoddle could be an option.
