In all honesty, I liked the guy and always have. Its a sad indictment of the player power in modern football. I have to say - if he didn't pull that stunt yesterday at the end of the game he would have kept his job, at least for a few more weeks.

Hopefully in a few more games we will sack our useless **** of a manager but it will never, ever happen.

Pdc gone thank god if he was chocolate he'd eat him sel irritated me and had nowt to do with our team

Any new manager coming in will have a hard job he brought in a load of new players who tbh are not that good. The new guy will have to sort them out........Probably just in time for when we play them.<whistle>

Mackem neighbour reckons Mcleish was at the game yesterday and he has been linked with the job?
Probably nowt but that would be funny he is shyte.....

Hmm. This had to be for SAFC. Let's face it, they've looked void of organisation. Whoever comes in however inherits someone elses team.

In hindsight, sacking Bruce was a big mistake. They've had terrrible luck as well. Losing Fletcher... talk about being kicked when you're down. Sunderland fans deserve better.

Gota love it, they were always mocking our managerial merry-go-round now look at theirs!
Seriously though it's guna take a damn good choice to sort themselves out, i reckon someone like pulis would be a crap idea considering sunderlands team is nowhere near his idea of football.

Whoever it is needs to be a man manager that can get some form from their attackers in Fletcher's absence. If his injury is a long one the form of the attackers will be the difference between safety and relegation imo
