Yup Stevo about the defensive midfield job to replace Medel - watched the vid on him in the WOL article - looks pretty useful.

(Enjoy your Brazillian - just watch the razor doesn't slip. <ok>)

South Wales Argus (yes, I know....<doh>) says Gabbidon wants to come back to us. Well he would wouldn't he?

Did well for Palarse last season and okay for Wales v Holland last week but could he still do a job for us?

Bluey - I think the Argus is usually about week late.......<laugh>

Saw that last weekend somewhere else and thought at the time - no thanks pal, we need to move forward now not back. Will say he did well for Palace after suffering some bad injury problems previously, but I think he's got "Bellers knees" and we don't want anyone fragile in that department for a Championship season.

Hmmmm, he's a tough nut who takes no prisoners. Knows the Championship well and being part of a promoted side.

Not spectacular but just gets on with his job. I see he is nearly 30 so a bit on the senior side for future building but we've got plenty "for the future" already.

I was at the Palace away game when he scored against us. Lousy goal with terrible defending all round.

Hi Jay

Looks like they are just repeating last week's news. I think the East Grinstead Courier gets their news a week after the South Wales Argus and they are a week after everyone else. <yikes>

Also, East Grinstead is in Surrey so what the heck interest do they have in this?

We all know he is likely to go, why would we have brought in 3 new strikers anyway and still have another 5 on the books?

At least £800k or so in and the loss of his salary will free up funds to strengthen in other areas and if Cowie also goes as is liely then there is more still in the pot.

I think we will see a bit of a revolving door at CCS over the next 6/7 weeks.

Always interesting us, never dull.

Centre back essential.

Hudson too old. Cala too unpredictable.

Turner to be first choice as this level will suit his limited footballing skills.

Squad will take shape after the Campbell, Medel, Caulker, Marshall & Mutch exits are sorted. There may be more. Mason? KTC? Cowie?

Sad to see Campbell going, but who can blame him getting away from the crap of last season? <cool>

Irrespective of Moody's views, I can imagine Pulis being more circumspect than MM was. Never been a big spender.

Apart from any release figure they'd have to pay, the contract terms and wages on offer would have to get past Parish. I can see other clubs being able to offer a much more attractive package than Parish would sanction.

Unless it was just down to the player who's a London lad to make the decision once a release figure had been triggered, he'll end up elsewhere.
