100% agree. What a waste that was, to think we could have got Austin for 5 million!

Falcao and Pato wont kick a ball for us for the rest of the season. We need to avoid vanity projects like this at all cost next year.

The Italian FA have just confirmed Conte is stepping down so looks like he will be the next manager. He needs to have some input now in who he wants to keep for next season and let some of the youth players have some game time for the rest of the season to see if they are worthy of a squad place next year. RLC, Traore and Kenedy in particular.

In short, we need to hit the ground running next season.

Yes, a complete waste of time indeed. I think Conte will be a good appointment, but he has to be supported from the top. Roman needs to stop meddling in team affairs and leave the signings to the manager. F*** Emanalo off and leave it to the experts. As you say, we need to hit the ground running, with a proper pre-season. Unlike the farce off last summer.
