Best team he could have put out...in this rubbish formation we play..he seems to be on the money.
I just want a good performance. I want 11 men to give 100 percent.

lot of the problems we have stem from the fact that courtois doesnt attempt to come out and block or kick the ball away, sticking on his line when he should come out to defend.
he has the pace to get out and sweep instead he cedes space and postions in the POMO too readily.
weakest link in our team so far, especially in games like this where we actually try and play a higher line.
frustrating.
apart from that a very good 1st half. i'll be honest for 5 minutes there i was fearing the worst. but the press has been phenomenal. the running off the ball has been good. and for the most part the decision making has been great too.
the pace behind costa has been instrumental in both pressing and breaking out on the counter, and the target man has done all he can to help the team.
lets see how this pans out.

As for now: we need to build on our squad. We need to identify whos worth keeping, who needs selling and which young (english preferably) players we are going to build our squad around.

Think we were a little bit unfortunate tonight although both goals were totally unavoidable. The first one Cahill made a poor decision and the second Azpi was ball watching. The overall score on aggregate flatters them a little, i thought it was more even than it suggests although they did deserve to go through overall. I can see the winner coming from Barca and Bayern but i'd love Atletico to do it.
Without Champions League next season i imagine some of our players will want to leave but besides Willian, Azpi and Fabregas i honestly wouldn't be bothered if any of them went. Finding teams who actually want them though, could prove difficult. We've got a chance to rebuild in the summer but we need to make some much better decisions than we have in the past.
As for Hazard, if we can get anything over 40M in the summer we should be getting rid. Lazy, uninspiring and has a complete of interest in playing for us.
