Ole Gunnar Solskjaer been mentioned? Just won the Norwegian title with Molde and should continue our Link with Man United youngsters.

Someone will be bound to shoot me down with this but hasnt deano got all his badges y not get him in with barmby as no2 i think it might be worth a shot!

Think I'd prefer Barmby on his own.

Imagine you're the Derby chairman and you support Derby, coaching badges or not would you even consider Windass as a replacement for Clough if he was the one going to Leicester?

Im not sure if its the lack of sleep but that made no sense to me haha please explain

Maybe it's time for Nick to step up? I doubt he will but he knows the players and has the respect of the locker room, so wouldn't be a bad choice

Henk Ten Cate would be a great option - worked at some massive clubs, yet also prepared to work for smaller clubs too.

why the hell not about Brown, you ask Percy.

Mr A Pearson would never have him on the shortlist.
The club ownership is a different beast now than it was under Duffen - so Mr Brown would have a strict budget to work with (would he put up with that)
A number of players who played under him are still at the club - do those players respect him.
What percentage of the fans would want him back - no chairman (apart with Duffen with Dowie) would appoint a manager under 50% of the fans want.
we do not what the terms of his severence deal was in terms of future employment at the club.
there are better candidates

With regards to Robinson, has anyone noticed who his assistant is?

John Gorman. If we go after Robinson we need to make sure Gorman comes too. Wouldn't want to make the same mistake as with Phil Parkinson where we only got half the team.

I agree. Whenever any club gets a manager that has been succesful they should always get the assistant as well. Football isn't about individuals, it's about a team.

Karl Robinson is the man I want, plays nice football too.

its quite funny to see the same people who slag off pearson for his boring football and boring personality, and yet here they are hoping he'll stay. what the **** do you want ?!

my opinion is if he wants to go back to leicester, good luck to him, hopefully we'll have a clause in his contract where he cant come and sign any of our players for a couple of years. and lets hope our next manager is one who can win over our miserable fan base....

the big question for me is are we big enough and do we offer enough to poach a manager that's currently doing well at another club... or are we left with free agents and lower league strugglers

Why do people insist in grouping everybody under the same banner?

Who, precisely, is slagging off Pearson for his style of football that now wants him to stay. Come on name names.

Who is this miserable fanbase you are talking about? Are you talking about the handful of morons that ring in to Radio Rugby every week to slag City off like Captain Caveman, or do you mean the 1800 that travelled all the way to Brighton to support Nigel "I just want to be loved" Pearson and his team?

Have a word with yourself.
