When I zoom out to 75% and all the banner shows it looks good, badge one end and gates the other, just cant read the text then. If we can get the banner reduced it will be fine.

Just tried adjusting my settings to 1440 x 900 text too small to read, the banner just say fits SUNDERLAND in.
I always have my settings at 1024 x 768.
Never have any problems with web pages and I can still read the text.
As someone else mentioned is this not a % thing in the coding?
Surely it's better to have the full banner showing for the majority?
The minority viewing in hi res will still see it, just a smaller image and not across the full screen.

I have PMed Mick with a link to this new resized banner with the camera zoomed out, hopefully it will cure the problem.
I am getting bored of doing this now lol so this is it, if you dont like it dont use it, I did enjoy doing it, but after 20-30 of the things (and disliking all) I really need to do something else (anything else) before i go mad.
Its 1920*200 on a transparent background (so it should suit any theme) The main bits are in the Middle to suit those on smaller res, but there are badges on the outside to suit those on higher res.

Even the mags have been having a laugh at 'underlan', even my wife said it looks ***** -even more embarrassing when their banner looks 10 times better. Sorry Black Cat, your efforts are hugely appreciated ...however ...
I cannot believe that there isn't someone on here who knows a designer who could fix this once and for all and I do believe that %'s are the usual method for coding something like this.

tell the mags to get bigger monitors then, its fine for me if a little too deep (but accross its fine).
honestly though have a background or just a pic taken from the net (like every other board, even i can do that and will take me 2 minutes) and it will never look right, well it will but you will still miss a lot).
My problem is with doing like those have
A: Its not original
B: its too easy
C: It looks crap
D: I cant find a wallpaper of Sunderland players celebrating without Jones or bloody Bent on it (and even those are rare), and i really dont think a logo with either of those 2 on would be appreciated, I dont mind SKP/Monty etc but those are all standard def and look like crap.
E: If one player leaves of the group and isnt a legend like bent (not saying bent is a legend, just saying if they leave like bent did, not a legend even though he said he wanted to be), then it has to be redone all the time, which is why the one we have got is probably ideal, its just too big and maybe Sunderland could be changed to SAFC to keep the size nice (like i have done).
Honestly i hate the way the toon one, man u one, arsenal ones are done, but each to their own i suppose (but its not a banner it just a picture.)
So if someone can find me a huge Hi-Def wallpaper/Image of sunderland players that we still have, celebrating, I will have another go, even though i hate them lol
