His pace, agility are good and his 1v1 defending isn't as brilliant as you made out but still it's one of his good points. Because if he was awful and as bad as you say in these games then you should be able to remember at least some of them. His one on one defending is not good, its outstanding. He has plenty of agression,resiliance,strength and bravery. I remember him going into aerial battles with Davies and winning most of them. And that is not even his strong point.

No i actually watch the games week in week out. And can tell you that he is a class act and will only get better and better.

First, Verm did not even play last season. Sagna is good and solid. Clichy was a very weak part in our defensive lines. And Djourou was good in parts of the season while Squillaci is just plain awful.

Kos was far and away the best thing about our defence last season. Also its not just about having a good defence, you have to defend as a team. And at Arsenal that is not done. So a guy like Kos has to work overtime to put out fires. That is why i rate him so much.
