Where are the examples of his awful performances you talk about, though? He is clearly not 'awful' compared to any of those defenders you named. And infact had a better season then most of those.

No. Your point was that he was 'awful' and you said you had examples where he was 'awful' in these games, because i told you that 2 examples does not make him awful. I then aksed you to point out these other games which you have failed to do.

 

The ones I haven't bolded I either agree with or I haven't seen enough of them to judge. But towards the end you were just naming random defenders!

 

How on God's green earth am I supposed to name EVERY SINGLE game he performed badly in?! I'd have to have the memory of a psychic. The fact I said he was awful suggests he played badly in the majority of his games. His pace, agility are good and his 1v1 defending isn't as brilliant as you made out but still it's one of his good points. Marking, aerial, strength, resiliance, aggression, bravery and decision making are all poor. Like I said, ask anyone who ISN'T an Arsenal fan.

Because if he was awful and as bad as you say in these games then you should be able to remember at least some of them. His one on one defending is not good, its outstanding. He has plenty of agression,resiliance,strength and bravery. I remember him going into aerial battles with Davies and winning most of them. And that is not even his strong point.

No i actually watch the games week in week out. And can tell you that he is a class act and will only get better and better.

 

Carles Puyol is a class act. Koscielny is so far outside that title it's unreal.

 

Not really. He is also a class act, if you watch him you would know.

 

And also, Sagna and Verm are class, your defence is reportedly by every pundit and fan across the land as being the worst part of Arsenal, so last season it was just Clichy who helped gained that reputation? Koscielny is poop.

 

First, Verm did not even play last season. Sagna is good and solid. Clichy was a very weak part in our defensive lines. And Djourou was good in parts of the season while Squillaci is just plain awful.

Kos was far and away the best thing about our defence last season. Also its not just about having a good defence, you have to defend as a team. And at Arsenal that is not done. So a guy like Kos has to work overtime to put out fires. That is why i rate him so much.
