Alpe d'Huez today on the Tour... Got to be one of 'The' most iconic climbs in all of the Tours grand history... Shame I'm at work but i'll be watching the highlights later on today seeing the pain etched on the cyclist faces as they try and negotiate the Col de Madeleine, 25km @ 6% followed by Col de la Croix de Fer, a mere 29k @ 5% gradient before scaling the Alpe d'Huez at a mere 14k in distance but @ 8% average climb...!!

Then theres the insane fans that just get altitude sickness and start chasing and cheering the riders up the tortuous route, which would pee me off, and im sure pee's the riders off as well...!! Get a vino or three down their necks in the midday sun, some 2,000m above sea level and all hell breaks out...

LOVE IT...!!! :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:
