Know b-all about F1 but I do like to watch it now and again. Today's event on Baku's city circuit was really something else. Red Bull's two drivers knocked each other out of the race when racing 4th and 5th. Looked to me as though it was Ricciardo's fault this time, as he drove straight into the back of Verstappen? Hamilton was certainly a lucky winner with Bottas getting a flat last two laps of race, and Vettel screwing-up a bit?

Can't stand F1. I'll watch most sports but that and synchronised swimming I'll swerve all day long. Anyway I've not responded to slag of F1 but only to congratulate you on Wycombe's promotion Ron. I did say you had 2 winnable games. Well done :emoticon-0167-beer:. Lincoln need a point from the final game to make the play offs. Although I'd like them to make the play offs and get promoted via a second visit to Wembley in 2 months I can't help feel that the more successful they are the sooner the magnificent Cowley brothers get an offer they can't refuse. The woes of following lower league teams. Years of abject misery followed by a small ray of sunshine and worries that the guys responsible will be whisked away. It's happened to the Imps before. Graham Taylor was the manager with the midas touch then.

Lewandoski was a f****n' disgrace over the two legs. If he is looking for a move to the Spanish capital with his delicious wife I would have thought he would have shown better form. Kimmich, Muller and Sule were brilliant however once again we just fell short. Is this our level with the wealth of Barcelona, Real Madrid and about half a dozen English clubs?

To look on the bright side of life I could either start a shopping list or look into a short (?) trip with the money saved from the post Final bender.
 
Agree, wife has been brassed-off with Lewandowski for a long time now, but to be fair on him, he has taken a right old bashing lately in recent games both home and away? Probably feeling pretty damn sore. Kimmich and Sulé were outstanding, as you say, however I thought both Müller and Hummels were not at their absolute best? Erm, that back pass to the goalkeeper from Tolisso was not a good one, surely? Again, a Krimi of a game, almost had to leave the living room the last 5-minutes and read a book on the loo! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I wish Niko Kovac well, but he's got a job on, as both Rummenigge and Hoeness are not endowed with a lot of patience IMHO? These two guys really are European football's Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, oder?

Hate to say it but I thought the substitution of Wagner for Corentin Tolisso was an error from Jupp. Tolisso's position was giving RM plenty of problems; Heynckes should have had the cojones to 'hook' Lewandowski and replace him with Sandro Wagner.

Just thinking; how much would FC Bayern receive from Real Madrid if they sold Robert Lewandowski in the summer bearing in mind he has three (?) years left on his contract and the current ridiculously inflated transfer market?

Transfer between two EPL clubs!?!?! I suppose a goal scoring (?) centre forward should demand a fee in many multiples of a very good attacking full/wing back with defensive frailties however who knows? Would you be thinking about a fee closer to Euros 200 Million?

If I was in Bayern's shoes absolutely. Especially when he has 3 years to go on his current deal.
 
Any team with world class defenders will need to keep them well hidden during this summer or put a £squillion price tag on them. How many teams in Europe will be looking to strengthen defensively?

Mark Hughes is one miserable fooker. Always the refs fault never him or his team. Seconds to go and his international full back decides to gift Everton another attacking opportunity with his defence out of position. But nope it's all the refs fault.
 
Yesterday night another robbery of Barcelona to R. Madrid as almost always with the complicity of the Federation and the Spanish referees. Never mind, we play the champions' final again and most likely they'll cry again.
