Just moved back to the north east and can actually get decent 3G on my phone now so will hopefully post more now. When I was younger I never thought I' come back to live up here but tbh feels great.

I've lived in Italy and France plus various places in the UK.
I left the NE when I was 8 and never thought I'd be back ....... but if it wasn't for the family in Mansfield I'd be back in Durham tomorrow.

Never had. Single issue with anything smug has posted. We disagree about certain things but healthily and we debate giving our own opinions and that's basically how it should be on here. It's the best forum on the net for footy (that I've found) been in RTG, and I like Syd's new one but this is much better as it gets multiple club supporters on the boards... Me and smug I reckon would get on well in real life too!! He's on the list of people on here I'd like to meet definitely along with cest, funk, shameless, WMS, Teesside and grandpops... Probably more as well but can't think of their names at the moment
That's the problem mate, there are some great lads who you forget like Giggity, QWOP etc.
The loudmouth bastards like me tend to stick in your mind while the quieter lads slip by.
The thing with smug is, he's a great poster and adds alot to the forum, the problem is that posters come on and are ridicluled by him, we know how to take him but folk don't and they take exception (we all get this), honestly, us mods get bombarded by complaints about him but cannot possibly take action as he is a propper safc lad with a viscious tongue.
My word to smug and to other posters who maybe cant handle the lunatic are this :
Smug dont pick on peoples posts anymore, no need to belittle safc fans on their own forum, for some it takes a bit of courage to have a say and a positive response would maybe create more posts, it doesnt need to be shot down (multiple posters have said the same and left btw)
Posters - its a forum - give him s**t he can take it, and he takes it up the poophoop
To be fair it's actually because I rarely use bad language or attack people without reason, I'm remarkably polite in most cases.
Throwing out a stream of nefarious insults is water off most people's backs .... it's when you hit raw nerves that they rear up and whinge to the mods. I usually only use logic and reason which are two things people seem to struggle with.
If someone's accusing me of lying or bullshitting I take great offence and go for their throat, just as I do in real life.
Whatever you mods may believe I like the vast majority of people, on here, and take great care to be decent with folk.
Your comments make me consider my comments, believe me.

maybe the posters in question are not the most active but that shouldnt really matter, you are a livewire at best, not even ****ting you, we have had loads, got to be close to double figures, all i am saying is, posters are leaving this forum as they cant handle you, its a place for chat and debate, not to be lambasted for having an opinion.

Problem is mate there's only one common denominator with all of these people leaving and it's you, to act blameless in it all is futile.
Fair enough you didn't start it, but every time you ended it and it ended with someone leaving.
So the answer is to let people take the piss and sit back without answering ........ is that how debate works on here?

I'm not offering an answer, I'm not all that interested in the question to be honest. I keep myself to myself on here and get and give very little bother.
